Perfect size and set-up for the family. My partner could easily work from home a few mornings, and the kitchen, bath, and laundry amenities were just right.

We enjoyed are stay at this humble abode. Campfire every night and the house had all the accommodations you could ask for. We recommend anyone on staying here that they will have a great time.

Ideal rental

Zero surprises and all great times with this rental! Property was very clean and the pictures do a great job of depicting the actual feel once you get in there! Would book again!!!

Cute cottage in wooded area but needs some attention

Overall, property was adequate. There was no hair dryer, front door blind broken, missing slants and comforters, pillows smelled very musty and needed to be washed. Also who puts a cuckoo clock in a rental?? That was annoying. The towels left lint all over our bodies after showering. There is no screen in upstairs bedroom and it was so hot we needed the window open as A/C does NOT reach upper level for cooling as days were 90 degrees. This cottage could be amazing but owners need to spend time overnight in it to appreciate how to make it better. Not sure I would stay here again.

We stayed 4 days and were pleasantly surprised with every aspect of our stay. Our expectations were exceeded. The kitchen was generously stocked, beds were very comfortable, also was equipped with helpful surprises like beach towels, umbrella , s’more station, books and games. The decor was over the top. Love all the moose and bear and outdoor accents. The yard had plenty of room for our boat trailer. We had 5 adults and 2 children and it accommodated all of us perfectly. Greg the host responded quickly when contacted and was very friendly and informative. We would definately stay again! The gnome shed and the shower head were bonuses! Very peaceful surroundings including rabbits and deer.

A beautiful place!

I came here with my 8, 15, and 20 year old sons and his girlfriend for the weekend to remember my mom who passed away in December 2021. Higgins Lake was my mom and step dad’s favorite place to vacation. The cottage is very clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you need including the supplies for a campfire. The owner was very easy to communicate with. I would definitely love to stay here again! Everything was perfect!

Close to campground

The cabin was clean and great location for visiting friends who were camping nearby. Cabin had everything we needed. It’s in a small neighborhood but it felt private and we never heard or saw neighbors.
