There’s nothing like waking up every morning and feeling the sun shining through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining area while you sip your coffee and contemplate the day. The covered patio has comfy furniture to enjoy the fresh air and view.

This unit features two bedrooms and a “Hollywood” bathroom, which has a second sink/vanity in the Master Bedroom that can be closed off from the main bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, such as coffee maker, coffee grinder, electric water boiler, toaster, blender, cookware, silverware, ceramic and plastic dishes, four burner stove, oven and microwave.

Other amenities include: bed linens, 4 sets of towels, 4 beach towels for Barton Springs, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and free laundry in laundry room on first level.

Cleaning Fee: $200 for all monthly stays,$115 for short stays, mid-stay cleanings are available for $25/hour

Adorably decorated, clean, and well kept the only down fall is parking on the hump. But would stay there again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay overall in The Retro! As far as the hump in the driveway/parking spot, I wish we could fix it but it's difficult working with the hill the building was built into. I would recommend staying in The Heart House of the ATX House on the left side of the building next time, since those parking spots are much more flat and easier to maneuver. We had a lovely time. It is very close to where we needed to spend our time. We would definitely recommend this for a short getaway.

Wonderful Location!

It was my first time in Austin in four years and The Retro was right in the middle of my old stomping grounds. Clean, convenient, and affordable! Would definitely recommend.

Great apartment, great neighborhood, great town

Highly recommend. Owner very pleasant and professional. Check-in a breeze. Perfectly clean and very well-stocked. Close to great restaurants, bars, park, downtown. Walkable or drivable. Plenty of room for two - only there for four days but could easily see being comfortable for a month or more. Wi-fi fine. Neighbors quiet on a very busy weekend and weekdays. Could hear other residents walking up/down stairs occasionally but nothing loud at all. Would very definitely hope to stay here again if back in Austin. Also enjoyed owner’s list of recommended restaurants etc - we would add our visit to Pontotoc Vineyards Picnic Table and Coordinate Winery farmhouse on Hwy 290 in Hye.

Great Location, Clean, and Well-Maintained

Great location and very comfortable apartment. We stayed at The Retro for a month and were impressed with the professionalism and service of Zilker Properties. We had a small issue with the kitchen faucet, but even tho it was a weekend, Peach got it fixed right away. The apartment was very close to Zilker park, small groceries, restaurants and even a movie theater. All were within an easy walking distance. Downtown Austin is a short drive. The apartment had everything we could want for a long stay, including a full kitchen, pots and pans and even a selection of spices. The Retro was a comfortable size for two adults. Having a free laundry room on the site was especially appreciated. Everything looked great and was very clean and well maintained. Thanks for the lovely stay.
