The cabin was absolutely AMAZING and beautiful. The cabin was nicely stocked with supplies, and the listing was accurate. There was plenty of room for all of us!
The only issues we had was parking and the driveway. The driveway was EXTREMELY (scary) steep, and there was times we had to move cars down the driveway to get other cars out. For a place that sleeps so many, there should be more parking.
Other than that, I have no complaints! The cabin is wonderful!

From the owner: "Thank you for your review, and we are glad you enjoyed the cabin. Unfortunately, the driveway can't be remedied. However, we are working on a remedy for the parking at the top of the drive. Although the driveway seems steep, it is common for the area, and the golf carts from the local golf course can zip right up. We hope you will return to enjoy the beauty of our cabin!"

Absolutely fantastic! From initial booking to checkout the experience was exceptional. Booking is so seamless and easy. Leading up to our stay I had several conversations with the owner Star. She was such a pleasure to work with. She was very friendly and accommodating and quick to answer or return my calls. We had stayed at this property several times over the past few years when it was under different ownership/management. The updates to the home were very much appreciated. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and will certainly come again. Thank you!
This house is simply beautiful and incredibly well appointed. The kitchen is laid out well for large groups and has all the tools we needed to prepare complex meals. The bedrooms are a dream - great beds, nice baths and lovely linens provided. The outdoor spaces are amazing and ended up being some of our favorite gathering places. I think what we enjoyed most was the home's many little nooks and quiet spaces. So many opportunities for meaningful conversations and space to chill and take in the scenery. There was plenty of gathering spaces, too - fabulous layout for family game nights. We really appreciated how clean the house was, too! Be sure to venture out. Roaring Fork Falls was an easy hike and beautiful way to start our mornings. We will definitely be back!
Our party of ten adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully crafted and well maintained home. The house is nestled on a mountainside near a golf course and BEAUTIFUL walking/hiking trails. Many wonderful things to do within an hour’s drive, especially, the NC Arboretum in Asheville and the lovely hike to Roaring Forks Falls in Burnsville.
The bedrooms are nicely appointed with mattresses that are a little past their prime but nice bedding, good towels and lots of room for clothes and travel gear. The sofas in the Great Room are aged and not comfortable but welcoming and they afforded everyone a place to sit and be together in front of the fireplace.
The kitchen is great for a crowd our size and pretty well equipped (it lacked a blender or Bullet) with plenty of plates, glasses and silverware. If you are not planning complicated menus or baking a lot, it should meet your needs.
The house is very pretty and cabinesque, so it is a bit dark in several spots - a Kindle reader came in very handy.
One word of warning - the driveway is extremely steep with a semi-blind turn, so best to bring an all-wheel drive vehicle, especially if weather is an issue. We (somehow) managed to force our 24’ Sprinter up to the top but then decided to leave it there and utilize other guests’ cars (which were skillfully tucked into the very tight parking at the top of the driveway).
It’s not for the feint of heart but I have to confess that it was worth it. We loved it!

From the owner: "Thank you for the well-thought-out review. I am continually adding to and improving the cabin. I have more lighting and kitchenware that have been purchased and will be added to the cabin this month. I am glad you enjoyed the bedding and towels as it was all replaced last year. The driveway is steep, but a golf cart can easily ascend, it just takes some getting used to. I’m glad you enjoyed it."
