The property was supposed to be smoke free. It reeked of cigarette smoke. The property manager was not responsive until I filled a complaint.

Hi Samantha, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:– Our home is a smoke-free property, and no one should be smoking inside. We’re taking your report seriously and looking into it further.– Thanks for letting us know that communication could've been better. We strive to be responsive and helpful, and we've noted your feedback to support continued improvements. We appreciate your honest feedback as we work to keep raising the bar for future guests.
Beautiful home with 2 bedrooms and a very comfortable futon in the living room. Full kitchen fully stocked. Way better than a hotel room. No air-conditioning but we opened the windows and the property manager brought us 2 fans. That’s all we needed!! Our stay was over the 4th of July weekend and it was actually cold at night! The Wi-Fi was a little weak but served us for most of our needs, especially the GPS, which I counted on since this property was 20-30 minutes away from the Dunes and other sites we wanted to see. Watch out for deer when driving! They are plentiful! All in all, we were very happy with our stay.

The road that it’s on was a bit busier than I would expected, considering they were advertising the families. The place itself wasn’t bad however, I personally have some current injuries. They make it hard for me to walk up and down steps, and the steps there were not exactly the safest. Did end up finding myself at the bottom of them at one point. Would definitely like to see them redo the steps front and rear so they’re a bit safer for heavier set guys like myself. Especially one is currently suffering from my injuries that don’t see the flaws on them.
For starters the only contact for the property provided was the cleaners. The house was clean with the exception of mice running in and out of the outter wall and a beetle infestation. The bugs were bad enough we xpuld not use one bedroom. The listing showed one room with 2 twins beds, but there was only a single full size bed in each room. We booked the place for a week and we were left with 1.5 rolls of toilet paper, one garbage bag, two dryer sheets, a box of tissues with only two tissues in it and the hot water smells foul. Taking a shower would make the entire place smell awful. We were there as little as possible and generally for sleeping only.
