Home is beautiful, host is great. Above and beyond. We did get a big snow storm, lost power. Do recommend if it snows it can be very tricky to get to home as it is on a steep hill. Neighbors do clear roads with snow plow but driveway is very very steep. Other than that this home was great and beautiful. Will definitely stay again, probably in summer.

Great house and location!

The house was perfect for our family which includes 8 and 5 year old girls. The house was very clean and located close to all of the family activities we did while in Ruidoso. Our girls really enjoyed the play room with bunk beds and toys while my wife and I really enjoyed the balcony with a great view of the town and mountains.

Wonderful Retreat for Families

This house is well appointed for a visit to SE NM. The house has all the pots and pans you could imagine (could you a sheet pan or a cookie sheet, though) as well as spices and other cookware. There was a whole closet full of toys and a bookshelf full of books for our younger kids. We saw a lot of wonderful wildlife while we were there, and the house was very peaceful.

We really enjoyed our visit. The home was in a great location and had everything that we needed. We would definitely book again. My only complaint was the thermostat. The days we were there it was over 90* and it seemed like the thermostat was on a set schedule and the house would not cool down. Other then that everything went smoothly

Very nice property. The driveway is very steep but I got pretty good at backing into the garage. I changed two dirty HVAC filters and the water softener was out of salt. The living room chairs and one of the couches were not very comfortable. Despite that, the house was very nice and we would stay again.

Great Place

The house is new and nice. The house was very clean and well stocked. Location is great. We had mule deer and other wildlife come to visit. The view is amazing! Amenities were good. Located close to town and skiing. You feel like you are in the mountains but yet close to town. There is a lake within walking distance for fishing and swimming. Frisbee golf too. Living Room furniture is pretty but not comfy at all. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit very much!

Everything was as pictured, brand new built home and very beautifully designed. The views are amazing and it’s under 5 mins away from grindstone lake and downtown. We walked down the street and saw deer and elk very close to us. The village of Ruidoso is very calm and friendly. The Ruidoso river is also very close with a shaded walking path, we weren’t ready to get in the water but many kids were having fun doing so. Plenty of restaurants close by and Walmart is about 10 mins away. Back to the house, there was no TP lol. The only thing that could be improved is toiletries but thankfully we were prepared. I would stay again.

Host was great responsive and very courteous and understanding. The home itself and amenities were great. There was a bad snow storm and power was lost. Only thing I recommend is to make sure it is stated and people understand how steep the drive way is. In a snow storm like we had it is almost impossible to get out.
