Ballarat Family Retreat is fully appointed with all modern conveniences including air conditioning and central heating.

There are five bedrooms and a kids retreat upstairs with a queen size bed, three single beds and three single mattresses that can be put on the floor. This area also has its own smart tv. There is also a table tennis table downstairs.

Main bedroom - King size bed with it's own ensuite with shower and toilet.

Second bedroom - Queen size bed

Spacious home for family weekend away

Great place to stay with our entire family for weekend away in Ballarat. House was warm with central heating for cold Ballarat weather. Close by to badminton stadium (only open for public bookings Mon-Thu).

Family Christmas Break

The house was great, we had 2 families staying in the house, combined adults & teenagers, there was plenty of room for us all to stay comfortably all having our own space. The ping pong table & trampoline provided many hours of entertainment. We had a great time & can't wait to return again

Lots of space and very accommodating!

The place was very clean, things like linen and other amenities were supplied and it had a lot of space! We were worried because of our group size of 15 it wouldn’t hold all of us, but the backyard, house and entire property left us plenty of space. House is in a great location with easy access to public transport and it is close to the centre of Wendouree. Highly recommend for all ages!

This house had everything we needed to have a fabulously relaxing weekend - all beds were extremely comfortable and the quiet neighbourhood was wonderful. There are Trampolines in the back yard which were fun for the big kids inside of us all! Thanks Ned!

Health trip to Ballarat

We needed a large house as there was 5 adults and this house was perfect for what we needed. Although we had a great stay the house is showing its age and needed more attention to the cleaning and cleanliness of the property. If I had to return to Ballarat again and needed a large house would stay here again though. Thanks

Better than our expectations. Ned was very prompt with a couple of queries we had with wifi and obtaining a clothes airer that had probably been taken. Although we had a vehicle it was a short walk to the badminton stadium.

Great place for a group stay

Had a great stay here with our group. House isn’t huge but we all fit just nicely. Teens all slept in the upstairs retreat which had heaps of space for them plus a TV. Adults stayed in the 4 bedrooms downstairs. Master bedroom is huge, need to walk through one bedroom to get into it though but we just used the sliding door to keep the privacy. Was great to have a washing machine as the teens were doing a basketball tournament and we needed to wash uniforms between game days. Laundry liquid, dish washing liquid and dishwasher tablets all were supplied. House was warm with the heating which was great being in winter. One bedroom is located outside in a converted salon but was great and had a heater too. Kitchen had everything we needed from fry pans to trays and even foil. Outside area was great with trampolines, table tennis table and plenty of space to play some basketball. Located 800m from Minerdome which was perfect for our tournament and also serves a decent bistro meal. Short drive to Stockland shopping centre which has everything you need. Would definitely recommend for group stays!

Best accommodation for family and pets

The place is spacious which is great for big family and fur baby making our stay enjoyable and comfortable. It’s location is perfectly situated to the places we wanted to visit in Ballarat. The owner is very accommodating so we highly recommend this place and such good value for money.
