Fantastic off grid experience!

The cabin has many luxurious amenities kept up by an attentive, responsive host! We enjoyed using the hot tub on the deck, the screened in porch with the grill, and the fire pit! I can highly recommend this place!

An Amazing weekend getaway!

The cabin was very beautiful everything inside is modern and the host makes sure you have everything you need during your stay.They keep everything clean and they have special treats for you like popcorn or chocolate plus they keep the kitchen equipped with a variety of spices. The hot tub was really fun in a cold day, me and my partner enjoyed it so much. Definitely coming back!!

Lovely getaway

We really loved the secluded feel of this house. It was the perfect getaway for us, with no kids, although they would have also liked the house. The hot tub and fire pit are great, and the gas fire table is really neat.

Romantic Weekend Getaway

I brought my wife to this cabin and had an amazing time. We used all the amenities and walked the property. It was very beautiful and we would definitely consider coming back!

Amazing Little Gem!

This place was great! Hot Tub, Grill, and fire pit were all wonderful! Weather did not hold up, but plenty to do here. Excellent responsiveness from the owner as needed. Guest book had some nice area recommendations....and we used them. May try to come back again in the fall. Worth another trip.

Perfect piece of Peace

I needed a little getaway for some R & R. This place checks all the boxes. Love the deck, hot tub & fire pit. The primary bed was very comfy and the bathroom was fresh and clean with great water pressure. I will be booking again.

Relaxing Virginia Cabin Getaway

This was such a great experience and we had such a fun and relaxing time. We found it feeling almost like we had the whole area to ourselves, enjoying the sites and hot tub. The cabin was fully stocked with anything to for cooking, games, and a nice bottle of wine. Everything was somewhat a little distance away but definitely worth the scenic drives!

Beautiful & modern remote-ish getaway

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! The home was very clean and thoughtfully designed, and stocked with necessities. The covered deck was our favorite! Although the home is located in a very quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street, it is nearby several towns for any essentials, dining, or attractions. It is about a 50 min ride to Shenandoah N.P., but there are tons of other hiking trails nearby. Nothing but good things to say!

Lovely Transcendentalist Retreat

The Moonrise Cabin was the perfect spot to getaway from city life and enjoy the beautiful Shenandoah mountains. The home is very well appointed locationally in that it's close enough to groceries, vineyards, cideries, hiking but is quite secluded feeling. We got to see some deer, hummingbirds, stick bugs, and dragonflies all from the back porch and covered patio. We especially enjoyed stargazing and listening to nature from the hot tub and making s'mores at the fire pit table. They have literally though of it all and provided guests with anything you may want or need during your stay. For example, a bottle of wine, coffee, creamer, butter, and spices are included alongside ample of good quality cookware and utensils; you will want for nothing. The washer and dryer was a nice option so we didn't have to bring a weeks worth of clothes and it was quiet enough for a 4m old to sleep though nearby. The water was nice and hot and the rain showerhead made for a more than satisfactory experience. There were also extra towels, linens, pillows, etc and the master bed was comfortable. The wifi was sufficient for us but may not be strong enough for Zoom calls, etc. There didn't seem to be any food delivery options but we cooked most of our meals so it was a non-issue. Make sure you head over to Old Hill Cidery for their Pickin' Fridays for some good music, good cider, and a lovely sunset. If you want a day in the city, Harrisburg is nice. We would absolutely return.

Peaceful Getaway in the Perfect Location

We had such a relaxing weekend at this cabin! The location was absolutely perfect for unplugging and truly disconnecting from the noise of everyday life. It was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The hosts were wonderful and super responsive to any questions or concerns we had, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was a great stay!

Awesome cabin

This was an amazing little cabin with so many amenities! They even left a bottle of wine for us and snacks and hot cocoa! The furniture was great and the decor was beautiful. They even had a lit Christmas when we arrived! The owner was great and responsive. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend at your beautiful cabin!

Autumn getaway

The cabin looked exactly as described in the VRBO website. It was well-stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms and very clean. The surroundings are wooded and there are deer that pass right through the property. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue would be for someone that has trouble climbing up and down stairs as they are required to get to the second level that has the bedrooms and the bathroom.
