The ocean views & beach access were great, but unfortunately our stay had several issues. When we arrived, the bed sheets had someone else’s hair on them, raising concerns about cleanliness. The dryer didn’t work, we weren’t told until after we had already washed a load of laundry & were basically told “oops.” We stayed in April on the Oregon coast (very rainy) with several kids & expected to be able to wash & dry wet clothes after playing outside, but that wasn’t possible. The fridge water/ ice dispenser didn’t work, leaked water onto the floor. We were told someone would come the next day, but sometime after 2pm no one had shown up, so we said not to send someone since we were starting dinner. We didn’t get a response until 8pm saying the service call would be canceled. The home sleeps many people but didn’t have enough bath towels for our group of 13, none extra for the hot tub. The downstairs patio door leaks water onto the floor when it rains, which meant using one of the limited towels. We were also told there was no pack-and-play, but when we arrived there were actually two.Other issues included gas fireplaces with little instruction that randomly shut off, an upstairs bathroom with no ventilation that frequently smelled like sewer, very dim lighting over the dining table (several bulbs were burned out).Note the front door and main windows face access, frequent foot traffic outside. When we raised these concerns, w that they would “tell future renters”. This won’t be us
This unit has awesome view, however, the kitchen needs significant improvement. Notice, this unit does not have late checkout time. The checkout time was 10 am which was challenging with small kids. Overall, good experience.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed the amazing view and had a good overall experience. We appreciate your note about the kitchen and will pass your comments along to our local team for review. We understand that an early checkout can be challenging with little ones, and while our standard time is 10 AM to allow for cleaning and preparation, we’ll certainly take your input into consideration. We hope to welcome you back for another stay soon!
Home was very clean, lots of amenities to keep everyone busy from adults to children. Only issue is there are two beds in most of the rooms, so if couples want to be separate they need to share a room. Otherwise very nice and comfortable beds and house. I would definitely stay here again.

The view from outside is stunning! However, it was hard to see out the picture window on the main floor since the window needed to be cleaned. None of the 3 coffee makers worked. One of the toilets on lower level was broken. I let them know about the toilet and they said it would be fixed, but wasn’t fixed while we were there. The TVs in the lower level bedrooms did not work. The jukebox was a big hit !! The sunsets were gorgeous!
13 of us stayed for Thanksgiving. The place was clean, fun + beach sand and dog friendly. This is not a luxury stay which worked for us. I would give it five stars except there was almost no communication from the managing group, and for all of the money we paid to be there, we could have used dish soap, soap and the little amenities you would expect for a very expensive stay.

Hi Mohamed. We enjoyed hosting you; however, we are sorry you were not fully satisfied with the cleanliness of the home. Had we been notified during your stay, we would have gladly sent our housekeeping team over to address your concerns. We do appreciate your feedback, and will share your comments with our local team. We value your booking, and do hope you will book with Meredith Lodging again.
We had a good time at this house. But it definitely needs some TLC, the only heat source in the main part of the house upstairs was a gas fireplace, the heat/air conditioner was not working. The house just needs some repairs! But it was livable, and we all had a good time. We got to see it snow at the beach! So beautiful! Did not like the public beach access right next to the house. People walk right by the front door to walk down the stairs to the beach. Their were homeless using the restroom and going through the garbage all the time.
The house does have lots of things to do, from the playroom for the little ones, to the pool table and pinball machines for the older people. There was definitely plenty of room for the multiple families we had there.

Great location for relaxing, but...
The house itself was lovely, but like any other rental, has wear and tear. some things don't affect the stay but four things stood out. Not enough forks for 8 people, so notified Meredith Lodging and they sent us more spoons. (Housekeeping was apologetic and ran out to bring us forks). The gas grill has all burners rusted out, it took 30 minutes to grill hamburgers. the gas fireplace made terrible noises. Lastly, the wifi was awful to non-existent. Four of us could not connect. I could but had better and faster connection using my data. I don't know if Lincoln City just has bad wifi or the house. The Management company did nothingt on the reported wifi or grill.
Again, the house was lovely and comfortable. But for the price, we hoped it would be more user friendly.
