Bikes are included for summer time fun, and a large hot tub for warming up after a day in the snow during wintertime. Walk through the front door of this home and you are warmly welcomed with a living room featuring a vaulted ceiling. The open living room, dining room, and kitchen provide plenty of opportunity to entertain and not miss any of the conversation. A well equipped kitchen with upscale appliances makes cooking a dream while enjoying your favorite beverage. Or get out of the kitchen and barbecue anytime of the year on the large barbecue safely protected under a covered pergola, just steps away from the dining room. After all, who says you can’t enjoy a delicious barbecued hot dog or hamburger in the winter time as well as summer? After a long day of play on the bikes that are provided, or a day on Mt. Bachelor, soak those sore muscles in the large hot tub on the back deck and watch the stars twinkle in the night time sky. You can also sink into one of the many wonderful beds, where you will quickly fall asleep till the next adventure that awaits the next morning wakes you, fully refreshed and ready to go. This home was in a good location not too far from the village and store. We had 11 people which was a little cramped. The photos make to main living area look a little bigger than it actually is. But overall it was a nice place.

Firefires shorten trip

We actually left after only 3 days even though rented for a week. With no air conditioning it got very hot with outside temps of 100. Then we got the smoke from wildfires and the team couldn’t really train. A nice place but the weather just wasn’t cooperative

Odd house

Pros of the house-sleeps lots of people, sunriver location, deck and hot tub are nice Cons-house very beat up, kitchen ill equipped-little to no silverware, dishes, cooking dishes, bikes not functional, layout of the house is super odd-walking through two sleeping areas to get to master, walk through master, bathroom, closet, to get to garage, no functional tv’s.

Family reunion

The property was OK however, there was no hot tub and no TV and no Internet. The Internet was finally hooked up the afternoon before we left. The kitchen floor was dirty. The bedroom situation was unusual in that the garage entrance from the inside of the house went through the master bathroom. Also, the bedrooms upstairs were linked rather than with a hallway. we did not have any Internet until the night before we left. Also, no hot tub. There was not enough silverware in that we had 11 people there in only eight forks. The cookie sheets were dirty. There was no dish clause or towels in the kitchen. No light in the master shower. No laundry detergent to start a load of towels when we left.

Not clean

The cleanliness was also disappointing. The floors were noticeably grimy and had a sticky residue on the floor that turned white socks black after a few minutes of walking around the home. There were noticeable cobwebs going up the chandelier, dirty rugs, pet stains on the carpet, a dirty sock behind the tv in the downstairs sleeping area, the trundle bed was full of dust, and the comforters were visibly soiled. The beautiful photos of the home compared to the condition upon entry felt deceitful. We appreciate your quick repair of the dishwasher but the inoperable dishwasher did require us to buy disposable plates and silverware for dinner the first night and make other plans the second night because we did not receive a clear repair timeline. After the dishwasher was fixed we then had to rewash many of the dishes because they were put away dirty by the previous guest and were not addressed by the cleaning company. When renting a home there are many assumptions made around capabilities of what is offered based on the listing and after we arrived those capabilities were not certain which took away from our expectation of a relaxing vacation. This home seemed well used by the owner due to personal photos in the house of them and mess left by them in the garage, which was odd compared to the other sunriver homes I’ve rented in the past 30 years.
