We had a wonderful stay at this property with our group of 12. The house was incredibly spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone to relax.The heating was fantastic, and having two fireplaces made the property feel warm and cosy, especially in the evenings. The kitchen was a real highlight , huge, well organised, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a large group.We also loved having access to the lake, and kayaking was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. It was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience.Lisa was a fantastic host and incredibly responsive. She was always quick to answer any questions we had, which made our stay even more enjoyable and hassle-free.Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable place for a group getaway. We would definitely love to come back!

Relaxing weekend

We are a group of friends, and the house is very spacious. We had 2 couples. The rest of us were singles, so we all had a room each. Wheelchair friendly, which we needed. Kitchen is very nice to work in.

My work colleagues stayed at the property for 2 weeks while working in Ashburton and their reaction was that I had spoilt them with this booking! They were very impressed and had a wonderful stay and easy communication with the owners

Family Holiday

Great place was spacious so room for everyone and spaces for everyone. we were a family of grandparents parents and 4 children 4 - 10 yrs. Heaps to do everyone slept well. Kitchen was great. swimming,kayaking, Jet ski biscuiting etc. Full days, good sleeping no fights awesome

Reduced family group

Having stayed several times at no 51 Ludlow and knowing the previous owners of 53, we knew the area well and were anxious to share our previous happy times there with our UK family. Unfortunately because of a single member testing positive on our day of occupancy six members had to abort. Our son and his three children were already on their way so they continued on and enjoyed a great property. His only comment was that the dishes, on first use, were gritty, as if washed with no dishwasher detergent. Regardless they had a great time. A shame that the others missed out and that no refund is possible. Lisa, your communication was great. Thanks.

Glad you had a great time. It was so unfortunate a member tested positive an hour before check-in but it was so good that they had travel insurance. Dishwasher tablets along with detergent is provided for guests to use, and our cleaner checks everything is clean, but sorry you felt that perhaps the previous guest may not have used what was provided. However, I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay. Thanks, Lisa
