About this property

Oaxacan Home | 2 King Beds, Palapa & Ocean View

Summary:

Handmade brick cupolas, colorful Oaxacan tile, and a private palapa with ocean views—this single-level 3-bedroom home in El Faro is one of the most architecturally distinctive stays in Puerto Escondido. Two of the three bedrooms have king beds. The only shared amenity is the pool, used by just six homes—far quieter than typical complexes. Five-minute walk to Playa Manzanillo, close to Rinconada restaurants. A/C in the bedrooms.

The Space:

Your perfect Oaxacan getaway happens in this unique and lovely 3 bedroom home. Hand made brick cupolas highlight the craftsmanship of Oaxaca while the Mexican tiles provide a cheerful place to cook. 3 bedrooms two of which have king size beds means no one in your group has to compromise. Cool rooms, ocean view, private palapa. Air conditioning in the master bedroom. Easy walk to Playa Manzanillo. Only 6 homes share the pool. Quiet residential neighborhood.

3 large bedrooms all centered around a open concept living / dining / kitchen area. No stairs needed for the main living or bedrooms. Only the palapa needs stairs.

All spaces are just for your use alone, including the palapa. The only shared area is the garden and the pool.

Quiet, residential area. Close to El Mirador Un Sueño Posible. 5 minutes to Playa Manzanillo. Several restaurants nearby but not enough to make noise at night.

You can call a taxi, walk to 5a Sur and 3a Poniente to grab a taxi, or walk up to the main road (10-15 minutes) to catch a Colectivo.

Quiet, residential area but still easy to walk the 5 minutes to Playa Manzanillo.

All areas of the home are for your exclusive use, including the palapa. The only shared spaces are the garden and pool.

Casa Verde de Vida was built to be more than just a place to sleep — we wanted it to feel like a home where you can live well, whether that means surfing in the morning, working in the afternoon, cooking with friends, or just resting and enjoying the view.

We enjoy hosting because we get to share this special place with people from all over the world, and it’s always rewarding to hear that guests felt relaxed, productive, and happy during their stay. That’s exactly what this house was designed for.

Why they chose this property

La Punta is one of the most unique neighborhoods on the Pacific coast of Mexico. It has a very special energy, it’s active and social, but still relaxed and connected to nature. You can surf in the morning, walk to great cafés and restaurants, join a yoga class, and watch the sunset on the beach all in the same day.

We chose this location because you can walk everywhere, but the house is elevated above the town, so when you’re at home it feels quiet, private, and peaceful. It’s the perfect balance between being close to everything and still having your own space to relax.

What makes this property unique

What makes Casa Verde de Vida unique is the amount of space and the lifestyle it offers. It’s not just a house, it’s like a small private resort. You have a swimming pool, large garden, fruit trees, volleyball and badminton court, basketball hoop, hammocks, rooftop palapas, and even a yoga and movement studio.

It’s also designed for real living, not just vacation photos. Each bedroom has its own workspace, and the house has strong Starlink internet, so you can comfortably work remotely while enjoying life near the ocean.

Most guests tell us that what they love most is the feeling of the house. Open, bright, private, and peaceful. While still being only a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and cafés. It’s very rare to find that combination.
