Section is unfenced, has a road frontage and right of way on one side to back properties so not suitable for toddlers or those who might wander onto the road.
Doubtless Bay is renowned for fabulous fishing, shellfish gathering and safe water sports. Nearby beaches to explore include Tokerau Beach, Whatuwhiwhi (Perehipe Bay), Rangiputa, Puheke, Matai Beach, Karikari Beach and the Coca-Cola Lakes down Ramp Road.
Nearby is the Carrington Estate golf course, with a restaurant and winery for dining and wine tasting in spectacular settings.
The nearest supermarkets are at Coopers Beach (Four Square, 25mins) or Kaitaia (PaknSave, 30 mins). Small store two mins along the road has supplies, bait, and petrol.
Mangonui, 25 mins away, has nice cafes, restaurants, takeaways and fishing.
Ahipara, with Shipwreck Bay, is 40 mins away, a popular surfing spot at the southern end of 90 Mile Beach.
Cape Reinga is 90 mins away, well worth a day trip to this stunning spiritual site on a nice day.
This route north has several beautiful beaches to explore for something to do on other days.
Ngawha Hot Springs with its healing mineral pools, 90 mins away, is an amazing place to relax on a chillier day. Bookings are essential.
Just over an hour south is Kerikeri with shops, picture theatres and cafés nestled amongst the citrus and kiwifruit orchards. If you enjoy early history then there is plenty for you to enjoy in the surrounding areas including Waimate North and Russell.
If time is not of the essence then your trip home might include the journey down the west coast which boasts Opononi, the Waipoua Forest with its kauri trees, Dargaville, and the Matakohe Museum which has a cafe. It is now not far to join up with the road south at the foot of the Brynderwyns.
Strictly no pets and no smoking on property.
