Situated in between Santa Barbara’s Alameda Padre Serra (APS) and Sycamore Canyon, this charming Paradise Retreats duplex sits at the base of our beautiful foothills. Every amenity is within walking distance: coffee shops, grocery stores, and an abundance of taquerias including Julia Child’s favorite, La Super Rica. A short drive will take you to Montecito, downtown Santa Barbara, one of our many beaches, the harbor, and Stearns Wharf.

This upstairs dreamscape is perfectly designed with Coastal-Spanish influence from the light wood accent pieces to the bold patterns. The open concept Living-Dining-Kitchen spaces effortlessly flow to keep the conversation going. The two Bedrooms are complete with luxurious linens while the third office area has a fold-out couch perfect for kids or an extra guest. But you’ll be spending most of your time on the rooftop patio complete with a BBQ, lounge area, and dining space, all surrounded by palm trees. End the night with a dip in your private and secluded hot tub. Welcome to paradise!

Lovely stay

Just spent 7 weeks at the terrace retreat and had a great experience. The rental management company was very professional and very responsive. The property was just as described and well located. Would go back there in a heartbeat…

A calm oasis

Lovely property with big outdoor terrace which is relatively private. Lovely view of the riviera, and who doesn’t love sitting amongst palm trees with breakfast? We walked to downtown in about 35 mins, and the beach. There is a trader joes only 10 mins walk away, and some really quirky cafes, shops and restaurants about 15 mins walk away on East Haley St. There are pavements in the neighborhood so walking is safe, and it feels like a really family friendly part of town. I would love to stay here again. So sad to leave after 31 days of bliss.

Great apt

Super second floor terrace surrounded by palm trees, good privacy, pleasant apt, convenient location though not a pretty part of town. Half mile from Trader Joe’s and sone good Mexican restaurants are close. Apt is roomy, kitchen very functional, bathroom nice. Sofa not so comfortable but I had room inside and out for Pilates and tai chi so prefer floor space to a big sofa. We would stay again. Management was excellent and price point for SB reasonable.
