So disappointed! Property is called Deck and Grill, well the grill is not covered and left to the elements and no propane. Property is very dated, stove and oven were dirty, shower does not drain properly (ankle deep water int he shower). So much differed maintenance. Fireplace does not work, no hot tub (mentioned in the listing). Just don’t go.

It was a nice home, clean with lots of room. Two sets of stairs so be aware and the home is not visible from the main road so was bit hard to find. Overall we had a nice time

Bright and Sunny Beautiful Home

My family stayed at this lovely home, it was bright and sunny, and the home feels even bigger then it looks in the photos. The master suite on the top floor is incredibly spacious and the shower is amazing! My children also love building forts outside in the wooded area. Great home and vacation spot! Very family friendly!

Suffice it to say that we will not ever be returning. I made a list of the issues, which I will share with the owners if they care to reach out. There are safety concerns about the wiring and the electrical service that should be addressed as well as a rodent problem that future guests need to be aware of. Also be aware that the deck creaks loudly when my 120 lb wife walks on it. If you use the oven and want it to heat faster: turn off as many lights as possible (scary). I would like to compliment the photographer. The photos are beautiful.

I stayed with my family (husband and two kids) as well as my mom. Plenty of room, had extra beds. Thorough instructions, enjoyed the games and foosball table.

Mountain getaway in Arnold

Property was nice , clean property. no closets in any of the bedrooms to hang clothes or store clothes. There was one air conditioner that was a window mount in the middle floor. Nothing on the bottom floor or the top floor which did get somewhat hot and stuffy. overall, it was a nice property and we would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.

Nice ladies getaway

Nice cabin, nice neighborhood. Kitchen fully stocked. Grill easy to use. Had trouble with lock box. Owner gave us access to lock box. She was very helpful. Upstairs toilet had trouble flushing. Had to turn water on & off again in between flushing. Shower curtain fell down. You Tub slow to drain. Ticurtaitrouble draining.

A bit dissapointed

Was a bit disappointed on several things such as NO Closets to hang clothes, towels that were not dried property by their house cleaner so had a bad smell, TV in master bedroom not working with 3 or 4 remotes so very confusing and owner saying we need to get a better TV, hot water heater needed to be adjusted by us which was with owners help on phone to take a decent hot shower. Definitely room for improvement to rent out to others. Nice location in private quiet neighborhood. Probably would not recommend to others however.

Beautiful property and location, but the cabin needs some attention.

The property is stunningly beautiful and the cabin is conveniently located, but really needs some attention. The most disturbing issue was probably the amount of cobwebs and spiders everywhere… there were 3 huge spiders in the upstairs shower and 1 in the top bunk that crawled up my daughter’s arm while she was laying in bed and looking at her phone. She was absolutely terrified and couldn’t sleep all night, and ended up sleeping on the couch all weekend. Another major issue was the lack of window coverings on some of the windows… there’s a huge window right next to the upstairs shower and one inside the shower that have no window covering or privacy glass, and these windows face another house and the street. There’s another large window in the basement bedroom with no covering, which makes it really hard to sleep past sunrise. One of the shades in the upstairs bedroom was broken and couldn’t be raised, and the shades on the slider in the basement were only about 18” long so they were pretty useless. There were several other broken or unusable items, such as the foosball table, keurig coffee machine, ice maker, and the gas fireplace. There were also a bunch of VHS movies but no VHS player, and there was no remote for the TV in the downstairs bedroom so it couldn’t be used. There were a lot of fun games in the house, but about half of them couldn’t be played because they were missing crucial pieces. This place has potential, but wouldn’t recommend in its current state.
