This is a beautiful VRBO rental. The hot tub is great. The constant view of the water is wonderful. The house is great for five to six people. The location is great. The town is a very walkable distance. We walked to several great restaurants in town. We also walked to the Tofino Brewery. We walked to Tacofino and rented bikes there. Improvements to consider would be a better equiped kitchen more basic supplies and easier TV's. Another suggested improvement is to include an outdoor ping pong table, or something like that. Something for a family to play together. The host was responsive to our issues. This is the second year in a row we stayed in this house. We do really like it.

Hi Joan, Thank you for your kind reveiw and feedback. I just arrived at the house yesterday to deliver a new oven/stove, pans for kitchen and a new TV. This was a phenomenal well designed property. You could see the time effort and loving artesian. Excellent that went into the design and building and maintenance. It sits in a fantastic location. And was easy to find and get in and out of in our adventures. Location made it perfect as it is central to going north and going south. The features of the unit were incredible. There were so many unique attributes that words cannot describe them. The bedrooms are great showers the kitchen the tables. Everything was better than you could think of. Paragraph the light switches were individually labeled to let you know what they lit up, which was just one of the many small features that made it such an excellent excellence day.We would definitely stay here again.

Friends get away!

We vacationed in Tofino for several days and could NOT have found a more appropriate place for our stay. Large home with lots of rooms, a fantastic hot tub, and lovely view. And Andrea was a great host and was very responsive.

Wonderful base for Tofino exploration

We LOVED our stay at Bear’s Beach House. The spot was perfectly located just outside of town- close enough to get to dinner quickly but far enough for privacy and peace. We saw a bear on the beach the first night!! We loved all the amenities. The house had everything we needed- just fantastic!

Gorgeous Home in Tofino

Stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful house with amazing views of the water and surrounding mountains. Location is perfect - quiet and just a couple of minutes drive to town centre. Andrea was very responsive and answered all our questions and resolved one minor issue. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommended!

Great spot to relax and enjoy the West Coast

Our family had a great stay over Spring Break at the Bear Beach House. What a great spot to enjoy ever that Tofino has to offer. Close to everything but you feel you are tucked away with your own little spot. Great veiws from everywhere in the house and we definitely enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long day in the water.

A great getaway spot!

I was looking for a good spot to decompress from hectic city life with my family and this place turned out to be the ideal spot. There are so many great things to say about this property. Right on the water with ocean view approx 2kms from Tofino. Beds & pillows were soooo comfy. Hot tub, sauna and fire pit very convenient. I would recommend bringing bikes so you can make use of the great bike path that goes from Tofino to Ucluelet and definitely take in the spectacular Long Beach. We would love to be back again!

When we drove up to the property, it was so beautiful. A little bit of a clinch when we tried to put in our access code, which was wrong. Had to get hold of the host to get the proper code. They need to hire a new cleaning crew. You could write your name in the dust that was on the lamps in the bedroom. There was soap, scum and mould and mildew all around the showers that was easily wiped away by a wet finger. The kitchen faucet desperately needs to be replaced before it breaks off. It would have been very helpful and useful if there were some sort of instructions on how to operate the oven. The views and the location were very spectacular but the small details in the house, there was room for upgrades. When was the last time the fireplace was cleaned? The glass is so dirty. You can’t even see the flames. Upon arriving, we were opening drawers in the bedroom and found a pair of ladies underwear. We did enjoy the hot tub.
