We kindly request that these times be respected, as the cleaners need sufficient time to clean the house before the next group’s arrival, which is often the same day.
Parking Please park in front of the garage or in front of the home in such a way that neighbours and other vehicles can drive around the roundabout.
Internet Wireless Network: xci-14eb Password: 8e749a1b7c

Water Use We are on a well and septic system. Tap water is safe to drink.
When bathing or showering, please be conscious of water and energy consumption. The water is heated by an on-demand propane heating system. It will be most efficient if showers are taken one at a time. Since the water has to reach the heater before being distributed through the pipes, the water will take time to reach the tap.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this conservation awareness.
Heating There are three different heating options: baseboard electric heat adjusted by the wall thermostats, heat pump - the most comfortable and efficient and works by remote control; and propane fireplace available for short-term use. To start, ensure the pilot light is lit; if not, follow instructions hanging form fireplace. Make sure that the switch on the right side of the thermostat on the wall next to coffee maker is set to “on”. Fireplace temperature needs to be a couple of degrees higher than room temperature. Fan will come on approximately 5 minutes after lit, to circulate heat.
** Given high energy costs, please be cognizant of energy efficiency.
** When leaving, kindly turn DOWN all thermostats to 10 degrees Celsius, and turn off Heat Pump/ Air Conditioning.
Lights When leaving, please turn off all lights.

Compost There is a compost pail below the counter in the cupboard to the left of the sink available for use. When filled, it can be emptied in large black bin outside next to the small shed. When putting the cover back, please ensure that the cover is secured by the log so bin cover doesn’t blow away.
Recycling Plastic, cans, paper, cardboard is recycled in the area. Please rinse and place items in blue plastic bags. Boxes must be broken down before bagging. Full bags go in large bin outside next to front door.
Trash Please use clear plastic bags for trash. Garbage may be left in the garbage bin. For longer term guests, we will have the garbage collected periodically.

Stunning chalet! Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Enjoyed gorgeous sunrises, and pool games after dinner. Hosts were so attentive and accomadating. Great location, close to TCH but still so quite to relax on the deck in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Shawn and Coco.
Very nice home, only snag was the shower taps are opposite of what they should be, 1 cold shower then figured out. Beautiful deck to sit on for the morning sun and evening shade. Enjoyed watching the boats and jetskis on the water.
We had a terrific weekend here; directions to the house were perfect, and the house itself was spacious and warm/cozy. The beds were SO comfortable and everyone loved the pool table in the loft! It was a great time of year to come to the area. The view of the river was gorgeous with the changing leaves. Would definitely return!
This chalet came exactly as advertised and would highly recommend a stay here. We came to the west coast to explore the fall colours on ATV. The location is world class and the water frontage is simply spectacular. We took several pictures just meters from the Chalet that we plan on enlarging and framing. The chalet itself was spacious and met all our needs and expectations. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and responded to our queries quickly and thoroughly. Would highly recommend this beautiful chalet to anyone and looking forward to our next stay.

Running water issue
Over a three day period the water supply was interrupted three times for several hours. This resulted in time wasted waiting for a plumber, no showering, no working toilets…

We did provide a refund for the inconvenience caused by this situation that was out of control at that time.
This was a lovely spacious cottage that allowed lots of room for movement. Each couple had their own bathroom. Kitchen was large and accessible. Tv was hard to navigate and could have used more instructions.
It was unfortunate that there was no outdoor furniture to enjoy the beautiful view and to do things outside.
Cobwebs were noticeable everywhere, especially in dining area and needed attending to. The dining table had not been wiped and the area rug in living room needed to be vacuumed.
