Perfect large family home with a amazing view from the outside entertaining area and bbq. Just a 15min walk to Broadbeach and it’s restaurants and cafe!!! Or maybe go for a walk to pacific fair and catch a movie or do some shopping or maybe hop on the the light rail into surfers paradise where there is more activities like Ripleys believe it and so on.
There is a mangers unit attached to the house, fully isolated and discrete also if you require assistance we are available 24/7. We will also accept long term Stayz at a discounted price , please enquire.

Perfect house for large families

We had a wonderful stay. The house had enough supplies to have a comfortable holiday with our family. Beds were very comfortable. Its close to shopping mall and beach so it was really easy for us to walk to the beach.

Amazing accomodation

cannot fault this accomodation and my experience! The hosts were amazing the whole time, fast with responses and any questions/requests I had. The accomodation is in a great location and cleanliness was to a tee. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone to do the same!

The perfect house

The house was better than expected. Very spacious with a great outdoor entertaining area. Very comfortable beds and we were even greeted with a bowl of chocolates. Would recommend to anyone.

Happy place

It was a Lovely break away with the family. The House was amazing with everything you need, it was in a great location to Pacific Fair, beach, cafes and ithe pokies if you wish to have a punt. The theme parks and harbour town are not far away too. Thank you Barry for your hospitality, we had happy times together. We wouldn’t hestitate to stay again!

Perfect getaway location

We were so lucky to find this property, and the pictures don’t capture the charm of this place. We rented it for my daughter’s 17th birthday, the the girls had the best time, playing party games in the garden and doing some karaoke. The home is private, yet spacious. It has everything you could possible want, and the beds are super comfy. The location itself is central to the coast, yet you feel away from all the hustle and bustle. The hosts were lovely and easy to communicate with, and check in was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and hope to come back again.

We had a good time at Barry’s house

We loved the house. There is plenty of space for our group of 16 people and we felt like home at Barry’s house. Open kitchen and living area with well equipped facilities made it very convenient for us to cook our meals and we had great bonding time together. The house is only 15’ drive to Surfer Paradise and closed to a big shopping mall. Last but not least, Barry is very prompt in responding all inquiries. Thanks Barry and Suzanne.

WOW WOW WOW The location was fabulous...walk to Pacific Fair shopping..walk to the beach. The house was as advertised.Plenty of beds to suit all our needs...Beds were very comfortable..We felt very welcome.Supplies in fridge to welcome our family was a lovely touch The kitchen was well equipped with all you could want. The outside BBQ was a great gathering place.. All that my family wanted to make the weekend was a fire pit.....as it was June ..but loved the house and will be back Thanks Barry and Suzie.

Three generation family gathering

We arrived at Mermaid Waters after a long trip and were delighted with both the residence and the warm welcoming touches from Barry and Susie. The house suited us perfectly with regard to bedroom configuration for 3 families, including 3 children, and 9 people all up. A lovely home with a great kitchen, roomy, and a relaxing patio with a good barbcue. Three to five minute drive to some good restaurants and Pacific Fair (you could walk there!) Barry and Susie were unobtrusive but promp in regards to responding any of our needs. Great hosts!

Weekend Wedding Celebration

Was hoping for fantastic accommodation to add to the happiness of my daughters wedding at Braeside on the Gold Coast. This amazing house absolutely couldn't have been more perfect for our situation. I had two of my children with partners, grandparents and the occasional drop in of relatives and friends. The outdoor area was very popular for gatherings of an evening, and the appointments of this property are amazing. Recommend it thoroughly for any similar situation to ours. The hosts were very accommodating going way beyond what other groups at the wedding were experiencing from their properties. Rod.

AMAZING PLACE!!!!

The "perfect family getaway" title encapsulates this property perfectly. The house is just what was needed for a large group like we had - 8 people covering four generations of our family from Grandad down to great-granddaughter (aged 6). The communication with the hosts was extremely easy and they were quick to respond when we had an issue (caused by us) and the issue was sorted almost immediately and without fuss. It was a nice surprise as well to find the 'welcome stuff' in the kitchen (which we were so pleased to find waiting for us) and they really topped off the first day. The house is amazing, it had all we needed and more, we were able to invite people over for a BBQ, catchup and a wine/beer/soft drink and the outdoor setting was absolutely perfect for this - I wish I had something like this at my place! Can definitely recommend the property for a family/group getaway, from the outdoor setting to the bedroom and beds configuration to the milkshake machine on the bench and the syrups in the cupboard, the whole thing was perfect. A short walk to the beach, a shorter walk to Pacific Fair and a short-ish drive to the theme parks, I cannot recommend this house highly enough

Best Stayz Ever.

We hit the jackpot! We were travelling as a group for a sporting event. The majority of the group were teenage girls. Sorry if you are still finding strands of hair in the house in 10 years time. The house was perfect for us. Ducted air, fans, netflix and even an old fashion arcade machine which kept us adults entertained. This house has to be 1 of the most well equipped homes I have ever been in. We wanted for nothing and the girls enjoyed making milk shakes with all the flavours supplied, Barry is a fantastic host. Everything was smooth sailing. The property is in immaculate condition. The location was perfect for our visit. Close to shops and sporting venues. All the beds were super comfortable. If I ever travel to the Gold Coast I would stay at this property again. I would call it a home away from home but so much better!

Family time always short but forever Blessed

This hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast is amazing and not to be left out in your choices of a home away from home. Suitable for large and extended families and groups, don’t be swayed by the photos which do not truly represent the ambience of a family oriented holiday home complete with all the basics, the necessities, the essentials, the equipment, the comfort and the warmth you rarely find when you are on holiday. Even the added delightful touches from the hosts on arrival already gave you that sense of harmony and affinity that made you feel safe and welcomed, thank you. The location is central to all that you want in the Gold Coast, walking distance to Pacific Fair and a short drive to the beach, beautiful and so convenient. This home was easy to find, access into the property on arrival was simple and had easy to follow directions . Beautiful home inside and out, well maintained and private, we were very lucky to have found this place. We are a family of 7 adults, 3 toddlers, 1 baby and 2 dachshunds. This home offered our family a place to enjoy time with each other and create new memories. Thank you so much to our hosts, Barry and Susie for your kind hospitality responding quickly to our needs. We are sure to return again in the future, when next we stay in the Gold Coast, thank you so much.

Amazing house

We had such a great stay at Barry and Suzie’s property. We were a multi generational family ranging from 80years to 4 months old and there was more than enough space for everyone to comfortably stay without feeling like we were on top of one another. There was always enough seating options for all of us too both inside and out. I had read the reviews before booking and staying and all of them were very positive and I understand why. Barry and Suzie are great hosts and were very responsive to all our questions during our stay. We all felt like the house was very well loaded with everything we would need, there was plenty of towels and extra bedding incase we needed more. The kitchen was amazing, there was everything you could think of and need and more as well as every day items like stocked so it was one less thing to have to think of. The only slightly negative about the property is there is only one bathroom, although was handy that the toilet is separate to the shower, as well as an ensuite so sometimes was tricky trying to navigate accessing both bathrooms with such a large group of people if someone was asleep in the main bedroom. The house is also in an amazing location, a short walk to pacific fair or shorter drive and walkable to the beach too. We found some good cafes around as well so we didn’t ever have to go too far to find what we needed. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone who is looking to stay on the Gold Coast
