About this property

Our one-bedroom ground floor unit, The Sand Dollar sleeps 4. It has a comfortable bedroom as well as a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. This modern, beachfront apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and private deck with gas Bar-B-Que grill facing the crystal white sands of our private beach, just steps away.
We have the most amazing sunsets at the North end of Siesta and only a block away from all the restaurants, shops and bars. Grab a glass of wine and sit by the fire pit for sunset!

Awesome location

The location of this unit is amazing. Steps to the beach and a very short walk to town. The unit is small but just fine for 2 people. The common areas are beautiful as well. Would love to stay here again next year.

Great Location in Siesta Key

The Sand Dollar is located in a beautiful spot on the beach. The property is older, but has been updated to an extent. It was clean and serviceable. There were, however, a number of issues which should be addressed. There was an unpleasant musty odor in the bedroom emanating from a louvered-door closet. The GFI plug in the kitchen near the sink did not work. The two beach chairs for tenant use were flimsy and rusty. The bathroom sink ran at a trickle. Lack of counter space or shelves in the bathroom is inconvenient. Overall, our stay was OK because of the proximity to the beach.

Incredible location. Steps from a less inhabited section of white sand beach. 5 min walk to restaurants. Good communication from management. The bad: Aging property that needs to be refreshed. Double bed at end of life. Refrigerator and freezer on the fritz. Couch sinks in. Sand Dollar has no view of the gulf…but hey, it was dark at 6:00 pm anyways. Again, if it’s location that you’re looking for, hard to beat!

Sand Dollar

Wonderful location. Outside space was great. Could walk to restaurants and shops. The beach was right out your door! A beautiful section of the beach. The inside needs some updates.
