wonderful house and close to black canyon of the Gunnison national park, very roomy and fun for the kids even though close to business in area was quiet and private, but fencing not secure for pets just FYI. We enjoyed our stay thank again.

Thank you for your kind review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! We also appreciate your note about the fencing. While the yard is partially fenced, there are access points that need to remain open for business operations. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again!
This home, while spacious with room for the 11 of us in our party, is old and in need of some repair. Many doors, cabinets, windows and closets were difficult to open/close. The weather was in the 90’s and the air conditioning is not central but rather portable units in different rooms. The one in the main area was not big enough to cool the large area and one bedroom had only a portable fan. We were quite warm. The pictures showed a green yard which I thought would be perfect for the 3 small children in our party but was instead an open yard of weeds and dead grass. I cannot recommend this property, unfortunately.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad the home was able to comfortably accommodate your group, though we're sorry some aspects of your stay didn't meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the home's upkeep and cooling, and we'll continue making improvements where possible. The unusually hot, dry conditions this season have also made maintaining the yard more challenging than usual, but we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us continue improving future guest experiences.
We all loved staying here. Our grandkids had a lot of fun and the bunk beds were a hit. There was enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves. Our dog had plenty of space outside to play and explore. We all enjoyed staying here and highly recommend this home.

The host was great. The house was perfect and clean. It was the best stocked vacation rental we've ever stayed in. Lots of room for the 11 of us. Centrally located. I would definitely recommend it.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
Beautiful views. Lots of parking. Be sure to ask for detailed instructions on how to get there -- all four of the couples who stayed there had trouble finding the home. The home was clean and comfortable. Also, ask for a phone number for the home manager as one was not automatically provided.

Property was exactly what we needed for a group of 6 adults. Lots of room to roam, we had 3 vehicles pulling trailers with motorcycles and parking was not a problem. Litch was well stocked for all your cooking needs. Bathrooms weee well stocked as well. Views were awesome! Close to town with a variety of shopping and restaurants.
The house was great with location. It allowed me and my father to hunt multiple locations while the rest of my family tood day trips for sightseeing. The location was slightly hard to find due to being posterior to a business but once we found it everything was great
Love the layout and location of the property. Excellent parking facilities for multiple vehicles pulling trailers. Beautiful mountain views from back patio. Will come back again.
Our family of seven rented this property to visit with Grandma and other relatives While we brought a ton of our own kitchen wares (cooking seafood gumbo is a science), this house was well stocked in the kitchen as well as all bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the wall of windows kept our dog busy for what seemed like hours just watching the horses next door. Enjoyed out stay and might come back in the summer.

Hi Amber,Thank you for your kind review! It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the property — we’d be happy to host you again!
We had a great stay. The location was hard to find on a gravel road and driveway. The owner info was trying to get hold of to make contact (we had an electrical issue that was solved after we were able to make contact).
The home was very spacious, and the settings was beautiful! Be sure to sit out under the stars at night! It was conveniently located to stores and tourist attractions. The host was kind and responsive. Our only negative find was a strong smell of mold/mildew in the mudroom and slightly in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
The house is a large, sprawling ranch, which was ideal for us to be able to get together, but also have plenty of space. The only drawback was that there were 2 steps up to the main living area, which was a challenge to one family member, but not at all insurmountable. The overall impression was just lovely, though, clean and bright and spacious and welcoming.
4 adults, 8 teens/kids.
This house was the perfect spot for our multi-family vacay! We used this house as a home base, and day tripped to Telluride, Ouray, Ridgway state park, etc.
Beautiful country living, with amazing mountain views! Close to shopping and dining, and still very quiet and private.
Cons:
The kitchen was not outfitted for a large family.
We had to buy more kitchen trash bags, and the dishes were inadequate for our meal needs. Thankfully Walmart is close by with paper plates and larg pans! I know our needs are different than most, just be aware of you plan to cook large meals.
We also couldn't find a broom. We felt bad leaving the floor messy when left.
Overall, five stars!
Stayed at this location for annual family fish/golf trip. Everything needed for a group of 7 adult guys to use as home base for daily excursions for fly fishing and golfing. Secluded, private space for family. No neighbors to bother or be bothered by, Lovely outside patio for starry sky viewing and family discussions. Nice kitchen, Great laundry room. Kind of neat that it was hidden among a self storage operation. Affording a little more security for equipment and personal belongings while on day trips. Well air conditioned in each room and well-appointed for travelers. Would've given a 5 star but for a few items with this stay. No patio furniture for group to sit together outside (bring your own camp chairs). a couple of the dining room chairs were unstable and felt like they were too wobbly to sit on safely. TVs have no cable or local service to allow watching local news or sports games when group returned from the day's activities (bring a streaming stick like Roku). Couldn't reach property manager to ask questions as the local manager we had communicated with the week before was no longer managing the property when we arrived. We never received a phone or email address for new property manager during the entire stay. Would've been nice to ask a few questions and resolve a couple of issues that would've made the experience a 5-star stay.
