Overall it was a nice stay. However, when the listing says Ocean View. Thats quite literally what youre getting. There is no walking down the steps onto the beach when staying at this location. The high tide is up the majority of the day and doesnt go down until 2-3pm and back up after dark. And when I say back up, I mean right up to under the balcony. Had this been disclosed in the listing, I would've booked elsewhere. Other than that disappointment, the stay was fine. The rental is perfect for 2 people. Bring your fan of you get hot at night, there's not much airflow in the bedroom.

We're glad you had a nice stay overall and that the rental worked well for two people. Beach access does depend on tide conditions, and while there's plenty of wide, walkable beach during much of the summer and many days in fall and winter, high tide can cover the beach closer to the building, especially when storms are around, and that's not something we're able to control. As for the bedroom, there's a portable air conditioner in the closet that ducts outside and cools the space well if the main unit isn't enough on its own. Thanks again for staying with us.

It was amazing. I’ve never been so close to the ocean on a beachfront property. My daughters and I loved having meals on the porch listening to the ocean and watching the dolphins. Would love to come back again soon

Horrible experience

I booked this property months ago only to find out an hour before check in that they double booked it. The place they eventually sent us to was trashy. First and last time I will ever go to NC. Awful experience.
