Cozy 1 Bedroom Hi Country Haus - on river !

Very comfortable, one-bedroom condominium located in Hi Country Haus in Winter Park, 1 block off of Main Street on free bus route. Unit has a queen bed in the bedroom for up to 2 people, and a pull-out queen sofa bed, best for 1, maybe 2 small children, and is approximately 475 square feet.

The unit is conveniently located on the corner of the first level of a three-story building, which makes for very easy access. The beautiful Fraser River flows just feet away from the front door. The Fraser River trail, and several other hiking and bicycling trails are easily accessed right from the unit. The parking and shuttle bus access is very convenient, and Main Street Winter Park, with access to the town, shops and restaurants, is just a block away.

The Winter Park and Mary Jane Ski Areas are just a short, free shuttle bus ride away.

Amenities include a fully-stocked kitchen, with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, as well as a TV, and DVD player. There is also free WI-FI in the unit.

The brand new clubhouse is fabulous, and features a Swimming Pool, 3 Hot Tubs: 2 indoor and 1 outdoor, Men's and Women's Locker Rooms, Wireless Internet, Lounge/Game Room with Smart TV, Fireplace and Pool Table, Children's Center, Fitness Center, Coin-Op Laundry Room, Sun Deck, Covered Picnic Pavilion, Horseshoes, Volleyball, and Playground ~ coming soon!

Excellent Spot for 1 or 2 Person Ski Getaway

Great locale in the heart of downtown Winter Park, close to shops and restaurants and 5-10 min from both Winter Park base areas. Unit was very cozy and in great condition, and was well equipped for any length of stay, would love to stay here again some time!

The place was well stocked with everything you would need. The location was great, ski shuttle pick up across the street. Close to restaurants and shops. The shower was great, the bed and living room furniture were comfortable. We had a great time, communication was great. We would stay here again.

Owner of property very professional and honest. Place was cozy and convenient to many shops and restaurants. Was perfect for my needs snowboarding the Mountain so I definitely recommend this place! Super Terrific Ski Condo

Diane’s condo was perfect for us. The free ski bus service is right out her door across the street; the cute ski decor made is festive; the pots and pans for group dinners were great; the bed was comfortable and extra sheets for the pullout couch made it warm and cozy. All the hooks for ski wear to dry are such great amenities. The free passes to the recreation center were an added bonus. The hot tubs were a favorite spot to rest after long ski days.

Paint was fresh, carpets clean, Very cozy and orderly, reminants of other guests including myself available for others to use, very quiet and mature neighbors, Rec Center with 3 hot tubs and indoor pool was super nice and relaxing, and a great easy-in easy-out location between Resort and Grocery Store. 10 out of 10 this year. Also whoever removed snow every morning x4 was sooooo quiet and fast...slept like a baby! Thank you so very much for a great place to recoup from hard day of skiing/snowboarding. Hope to rent next year as loyal customer. Well worth it!!

Uncomfortable Stay

The property was unclean, dusty and pet hair was EVERYWHERE and the smell of pets was very noticeable. The blinds were so raggedy we had to put sheets up for privacy. I had to clean the sofa and chair cause there was so much pet hair all over and we was not going to set on it. Had to clean the tub and wipe the refrigerator cause pet hairs was in there. Will not rent nor recommend this place to anyone.

Karen Jackson- The unit was cleaned by a professional cleaner prior to your stay, including the sofa, chair, and tub, that you mentioned you had to clean, as well as the rest of the unit. The blinds are older, but still work, and provide plenty of privacy. The unit is priced accordingly, as it is an older unit. If you want a more modern unit, you will also be paying an increased rental price. In addition, I mention in my post that I have dogs, and that they stay with me while I vacation at the condo - and to take that into consideration when renting my unit. I am sorry you felt the unit did not meet your expectations -

Cozy and convenient

The condo was a great place for my husband and grown daughter and I to stay for the weekend to go skiing. It was right in town and close to shopping and restaurants (we highly recommend Hernando's Pizza!) Being on the shuttle route was also a convenience. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The wifi was not available in the evenings so maybe there was competition for it from the other condos? Janet was very responsive when we had questions, too.
