We didn't want to leave!

This is a great property on the golf course in a wonderful residential community. The location is wonderful for golfing, hiking, biking, and exploring the area. The host was very responsive and helpful. We hope to return again.

Owner saved Listing Agents

House, location, amenities and owner were great. Both listing agents (VRBO and Evolve) were not helpful beyond reading the info on the listing. Eventually the out of state owner came to the rescue. Except for listing service, neither VRBO or Evolve seemed to be involved or care. This is probably not unusual so beware.

Very disappointing stay in Borrego

The rental was very dirty, the freezer all rusty, no heat for the pool, cabinets in the baths were in poor unusable condition, back deck was dirty with many ants and the bedrooms had poor lighting. On arrival it was clear that the floor had not been swept or moped and the rugs were dirty. As a result our stay was uncomfortable and a huge disappointment.

Our goal is to blend classic charm with modern amenities, which includes maintaining our vintage Subzero unit alongside a brand-new refrigerator for guest use.Regarding the outdoor areas and pool, we're actively working to mitigate the impact of natural elements such as sand and insects, including employing non-toxic solutions for immediate concerns like the ants you mentioned. The pool, a highlight for many guests due to its historic and expansive design, is indeed not heated, which is consistent with our property descriptions and communications.As a token of our commitment to guest satisfaction, we provided complementary items including a bottle of wine, fresh drinking water, and assorted coffees and teas.
