Cool, Clean, Comfortable
We appreciated the well-functioning a/c during the hot weather, the very clean home, comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities. Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed the stay.
Very disappointing stay.We arrived at 4pm on the first day and could not access the house because the entrance was buried under about one meter of snow. We were not informed in advance and had to book a last-minute hotel 30 minutes away.On the second day, although the path was cleared, there was no electricity. I was told via text that there would be hot water because it runs on propane, but there was no hot water either.Electricity was finally restored on days three and four, but the only cleared parking space was taken by another vehicle, forcing us to park down the street in snowy conditions. This property was clearly not prepared for winter guests. I would strongly recommend confirming access, utilities, and parking before booking in snow season.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m very sorry that your stay was impacted by the severe winter storm that weekend, which brought unexpected challenges for many in the area, including heavy snowfall and a power outage.
I did my best to stay in communication with you during your stay. When the electricity went out on the second day, I shared that the home still had propane for cooking and that the fireplace could provide heat. At the time, I believed the propane tankless water heater would still provide hot water, but I later realized it also requires electricity to start, and I apologize for that misunderstanding.
A parking space had been cleared across the cul-de-sac for your use, which is considered street parking in our area, but a neighboring vehicle unexpectedly occupied that space. I’m sorry these unforeseen circumstances during the storm affected your visit.
Beautiful, clean, cozy, comfortable home with every convenience. Quiet, peaceful setting among the pines. Home is well appointed with tasteful and inspired decor.
We stayed for four nights in this cozy, quaint Twain Harte cabin and enjoyed the beautiful, warm fireplace and hot drinks. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Beautiful views and great walks all around the cabin with a short drive to Pinecrest Lake and nearby restaurants to explore. Very clean and exceptional communications from the owner to make our stay enjoyable. We hope to be back soon and next time enjoy this cabin in the warmer summertime!
This property has the most lush carpet I've ever felt. The beds were firmer than we like. We stayed after a snow storm and the walkway was cleared. Kids loved the vhs disney movies. The kitchen had everything we needed (though we didn't cook).
Great location as we were close to mi Wouk and Twain Harte where family was located. Pinecrest Lake a 25 min ride.
Cabin was comfortable and very clean! Kitchen is wonderful with large fridge, bring coffee for coffee machine! The cabin would benefit from a floor lamp in the living room as it was too dark at night to read from the lights of the kitchen. Instructions for tv use would be beneficial.
Our family of four had so much fun at this cabin! It is about 30 minutes from Dodge Ridge which is a really easy drive. The cabin seems to be below the snow line (at least while we were there mid February). It was such a nice retreat after a day on the slopes. It is probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in! The bed was very firm (and comfortable) memory foam. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We had such a fun time playing board games and watching old VHS movies (even though there was a smart tv, we decided to introduce our teenagers to VHS 90s films). We all had the very best time and hope to come back!
