- Very secluded location between Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake. Close to a multitude of adventuring opportunities such as hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, ziplining, boat tours and more! Natural Bridge State Park in Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake in Morehead, KY are both approximately 45 minutes away.
- Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds or date modifications within 14 days or less of your arrival.
- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in our area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.

Peaceful property

Amazing space!!

My husband and I had a lovely long weekend here! The space is incredibly restful. The natural light from the windows makes the whole space so pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub while we were there as well! We were in contact with maintenance while we were there regarding the Wi-Fi and they were very polite and helpful. We brought all our own food and due to a road closure because of historic flooding not long before we came, we had to take a longer way in and didn’t have any close groceries or gas so I was so glad I had brought what we needed. If the road had been open, groceries and a few restaurant options would have been somewhat closer, but still, this was a secluded cabin which is exactly what we wanted. We’d love to come back!!

Nice secluded property

We enjoyed our stay. Property seems like it was VERY new and modern. Just what we wanted. It is tucked up a long drive and is very private between peaks of the hills. This place was perfect for our extended weekend stay. Highly recommended.

Wonderful

The property was amazing, it feels very new and we loved how modern it was inside in the middle of the woods. The decorating was very well done, the fire pit, deck that wraps around the entire house, wall to wall windows, hot tub, were all exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be back

Awesome Property!

What a great weekend! Thank you for sharing your wonderful property with us. It was my husband's birthday, and we were looking for some quiet time after a crazy few weeks. This property was perfect. We loved everything about it. We even did a little hiking at Broke Leg Falls and Devil's Market House Arch. Both are must sees and only a few miles from the house.

Home away from home.

This was a birthday get away for my wife. We have traveled and stayed all over the country. From luxury cabins to lake houses. This place takes the cake. I have never felt more at home anywhere. Typically by the time our weekend is over I am ready to get home. Not this trip. I could live here happily! The host checked in multiple times through out the weekend. Very kind and generous. This is a stay we will certainly return back to! Thank you for a memorable trip......

Very nice place

We enjoyed this very secluded cabin alot. The steep gravel driveway is a challenge. Our mini van was slipping quite a bit all the way up, but a steady speed kept us moving. Turning around at the top is also very very tight. A few minor improvements inside would be nice. There was no place to put stuff like soap in the shower. The couch is not comfortable, and a TV in the bedroom area, and a few more towels would also be nice.

Modern Luxury in the Country

We arrived at night to find this super cute house on the hill aglow with stringed lights in the backyard. The hot tub was already toasty and felt AMAZING after our wintery travels. We truly felt secluded, which was great for having the relaxing weekend away that we wanted. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for us to cook all our meals for the weekend, and we loved the set up of the small house. The TV with Roku was nice for connecting to our accounts and watching movies on streaming services. A couple things to note: - The driveway is a very steep gravel road. We were in a Jeep and had little issue getting up the hill, but if you have a smaller vehicle, you may want to double check with the host to see what their experience has been with driving up in a sedan. - Not a huge deal and I'm sure it was just an oversight, but there wasn't a propane tank in the grill when we went to make our dinner the second night. We ended up cooking on the stove, which was perfectly fine, but if you're planning an all-out barbeque - check that before you make dinner plans. Thank you for an awesome stay! We will definitely be back!

We overall enjoyed the property. The location was nice and as secluded as expected. Upon arrival, the first thing noticed was an inferior cleaning. There were chip crumbs all over the floor and miscellaneous items that indicated that the floor hadn't been swept. We felt there could have been better cabin specific instructions, (i.e. fireplace, hot tub...) A text message was answered promptly regarding the fireplace, as we figured it out. We had to use Google to find hot tub instructions specific to the unit to get it out of sleep mode. We felt like the hot tub water quality could have been monitered better. A few other suggestions would be to supply a few more linens, a bath mat for the shower, get rid of the corroded hand soap dispenser. The sofa in the living room area felt like very poor cushions on a sheet of plywood. It was obviously a piece of a sectional. One of the dining chairs nearly fell apart due to a bolt backing out, something easily seen on a quick inspection. The gas grill looked like it never gets cleaned on the inside, the burner tubes were rusted in two and grease poured out onto the tank as the grill heated up. It may sound like I am being nit-picky, but I rarely make a fuss. The property is a neat design, has alot of potential, but feels like care was not / isn't currently put into it. For the amount of money charged, we felt like the quality standards were lacking.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We loved the secluded and quiet location. My only critiques are the steep gravel drive needs some attention, the refrigerator is quite noisy at night while trying to sleep, and the overall housekeeping could be better. The ceiling fan in the bedroom is very dusty, and cobwebs in several places.

Absolutely such a fantastic getaway! This is our second time here … spent three days here for our 10th anniversary. The cabin has been so clean both times. The layout is lovely, the hot tub is fantastic, the decorations are perfect. Really makes for an enjoyable time! I knew from our first stay that restaurants aren’t too close, but that’s okay since we really just wanted to hang around and enjoy the cabin. The kitchen had everything I needed for basic cooking, even including some spices. We are already planning our next stay!

This is an amazing little getaway spot. It was clean and is immaculately decorated with tons of windows and gorgeous views. We enjoyed both the hot tub and fire pit. There are a few things that could be improved. The shower had no hot water, my husband takes cooler showers and it was too cold for him as well. Even though it says they provide shampoo and body wash, the products are very small so I would suggest you bring your own. A list of directions for things would be helpful. It took us forever to find the plug for the party lights in the back. The WiFi is not great but that’s not why we came so it was fine with us. The remote to the TV died and we could not find the charger for it and it didn’t take batteries. So a list of those little things would be so helpful. You’re supposed to wash the dishes but there’s no drying rack or kitchen towels. The cabin and surroundings were both gorgeous and we loved it other then the cold water.

The property is a great getaway, secluded and well maintained. Unfortunately, in the title of the listing and one of the appeals for staying here is "WiFi" and it was unavailable for the entirety of the stay. The property owner did send someone out to look at it, but the issue was never resolved. Due to spotty cell service, it was hard to get messages out to the owner and to receive messages concerning the WiFi and checkout procedures. We also have family who are ill or need to be able to contact us, so our phones stayed in a corner of the cabin where service dropped in and out in case they tried to reach out. While the internet issues may not be the fault of the owner, when the TV relies on internet, there's no way to watch, stream movies, or anything of that nature and cell-phones are nearly useless. As that was part of the advertised amenities, and in the name of the listing, I would have expected some reimbursement for the stay.Otherwise, the cabin is very nice, the hot tub took a while to warm up, but was enjoyable as well. Our entry code did not work, but it was resolved by the owner once we were able to find service enough to send it out and receive messages. I will echo the owner that you have to have a good 4x4 or similar vehicle as it is straight up a giant hill on a rock road. The WiFi was a big deal to us, but if that is resolved, we highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful stay… but be aware of steep driveway

The property was in a gorgeous location in Red River Gorge and the stay was nice. The driveway was very steep. We were thankful to be in a truck, but vehicles that sit lower to the ground would likely get stuck. We could also foresee this being tricky if there had been a lot of rain. I chose this property because it had wifi and the wifi never worked. We tried everything to reset it and contacted the property manager. They said they would try to send someone out, but no one ever came. Very disappointed for that reason. There is hardly any cell service in the area and my door code did not initially work upon checkin. Luckily I had enough service to call and was able to get in. Loved this little property, but wish the amenities listed had actually been available.

Upon check in the code was wrong, then called the number provided 15 minutes (working hour and 20minutes) finally spoke to a lady who gave us a different code to enter.. we attempted to use the WiFi connection, the password didn’t work and couldn’t access during our stay… Called again to ask for assistance The maintenance was being sent out the next morning and never showed up…Other than that the stay was perfect House was a pleasurable experience Definitely will visit again….

Primrose

This was our third time here. It's a lovely cabin but the hot tub was not hot enough. The string lights outside were not functional. I inquired the first day and they said they would send someone to fix them the next day. They did not which was disappointing.
