Host, Mike, is always helpful and has the cabin ready. The deck on the back is a perfect spot for relaxing. We have been coming here for years - each year there are upgrades and additions. Mike does an amazing job keeping things in great shape. Its a cabin with great space for family!
Had a wonderful stay and appreciated the friendliness and courtesy of Mike! Loved the wood burning furnace, the seclusion, the little creek, and the lack of service! It was the perfect weekend stay!Construction closed the road between 9 pm - 4 am, and we were driving from NoCo! Mike was the best and called us a few days before to let us know and day of to make sure we could make it in time. Will absolutely be staying again if the opportunity arises!
We had a great time during our stay. Loved the backdoor deck and Mike was very responsive. Excellent stay if you are looking for a reasonably priced place on Rock Creek and ok with a rustic cabin.
Mike was great and very flexible. Loved the eclectic charm of the cabin. The claw foot tub was the topping on the cake. The only suggestion would be to put in a taller toilet. Thanks for everything Mike!!
This is a great place to stay while enjoying Rock Creek. The cabin is old but is well maintained and was very comfortable for two people. Brewster Creek runs right behind the cabin and the sound of the water was soothing to listen to at night. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils but some improvising may be required. Note that bath soap and shampoo are not provided, so you might want to bring your own. We enjoyed meeting the host, Mike, and found him to be very helpful and responsive. I would not hesitate to stay here again when fishing Rock Creek!
An out of the way, off the grid, rustic, old school facility. Watched a young bear up the mountain side, caught a brook trout in pool behind house. Had everything we needed. Note, this is an old school throwback, not a modern, wifi condo and we loved every second. Mike, Ilsa, and Trudy were great. Even had big horned sheep stop in the back for a visit.
Our family loved this little cabin nestled away. We loved the little creek running along side the home, where the kids caught trout and we listened to the beautiful sound of the water. This is a truly no service location, which if you are looking to disconnect for the outside noises it is for you. Just a few minutes down the road and we were able to fly fish the river, explore the banks, and just be in nature. Trudy is the best and loves to come visit, especially when the kids are out, cutest pup around.
We really enjoyed staying here, it was exactly what we wanted, Mike is an excellent host, we are ready to go back again! Thank you, Mike for a wonderful vacation! We loved it! 😊
We had a great time at the cabin. Such a wonderful place. There were 6 of us and it was cozy. The kids loved the stream outside and the host’s little dog. The host was available and very helpful and friendly. The cabin is definitely not fancy, everything is mismatched and old, the floors are a bit uneven and in spots things are patched together. But we had everything we needed except a large cooking pot for pasta. We would definitely stay here again.

Cabin next to beautiful creek, no traffic, perfect for dog friends spot.
Furniture needs replacing, structural work needed on this older cabin.
It is exactly what it says it is, a great fishing cabin, and a bit more. More spacious than the photos indicate, the creek in the back is a bonus. We loved it and plan to return...
Description is very accurate. It was great listening to the creek flow, very relaxing. Michael was super nice. Definitely be coming back someday when we can stay a few days instead of one.
We had such a lovely time in the cabin, every detail of it made us feel at home. We only had one night, but we already want to plan for a longer stay to come back and really enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the space. Also, the bedroom and bathroom are straight out of a fairytale, such a dream. Thank you again so much for having us!
