This is a renovated 1920s cottage located on one of the most picturesque streets in inner city Melbourne.
The house has high ceilings and much of the original charm, however, the back of the house was renovated in 2013 to include polished floorboards and a modern kitchen that includes gas cooking, an electric stove, a dishwasher, a microwave and clothes washing machine.
The front bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed. The second bedroom has a modern sofa bed that opens to a very comfy queen size bed. (Once the bed is set up for guests most do not even know it doubles as a couch!) All the beds are made up with cosy, quality linen. The back of the house includes an upstairs study can be set up as a third bedroom with a single bed.
There is one bathroom with a shower and one toilet. It's a compact space but the shower is amazing.
The front porch is a lovely sunny spot in the morning and the back area is a great place to enjoy outdoor meals or a great space to relax in the hanging egg chair. (There is also an outdoor gas BBQ.)

The little terrace house really suited us. Close to transport, restaurants, pubs and bars, coffee shops and supermarkets. Also had some local attractions, including the Yarra, that were an easy walk. The owners were so easy to contact and accommodating - we had a dog.
I’d definitely recommend staying if you can.
