Glamping at its finest!!! Enjoy an intimate weekend away from the hustle of life!
Beaver Creek Cabin is a peaceful getaway that is overlooking natures playground. There is NO running water or shower, minimal cell service, no electronics but a beautiful view♡ The attached washroom uses a composting toilet that requires no water.
We encourage you to have coffee on the porch, a picnic in the woods and a campfire by the water under the night sky.

The space
unwind, unplug, reconnect and relax!
Beaver Creek Cabin is equipped with hydro but has NO running water, we supply fresh spring water for drinking, coffee/tea, cooking, dishes, etc.
Beaver Creek Cabin is surrounded by bush and overlooks a beaver pond. I promise bugs, spiders, ants, black flies, mosquitoes, horse flies, house flies, noseeums and many more "pests" (depending on the season). The cabin is also located on a gravel road so there is dust and dirt from the road. When you come here we share with nature.
If you need to rely on cell service during your stay, unfortunately I would not recommend us as a good fit.
The cabin is supplied with six 2litre jugs and one culligan jug of fresh spring water. If more water is required during your stay, directions to the local spring are included in the cabin manual.
The cabin is heated during the winter months with an eco friendly wood pellet stove. (Pellets are only provided from Nov-April please see "other notes" for more instructions) If you wish to enjoy an indoor fire, outside of the winter months please contact us and we can arrange this for an additional fee ($10 a hopper)
There are many lakes close by. Commanda Lake is about 5-10mins drive, Restoule Lake and Wolfe Lake are about 15-20 min drive all have public launches.
Guest access
Beaver Creek Cabin is situated on the north end of Maple Roots Farm overlooking the beaver pond. It has a private driveway on a maintained gravel road with lots of parking.
There are walking trails around the cabin, within minutes to MANY different lakes, ATV routes and OFSC trails.
Other things to note
The beaver pond is fed by a stream. It is not fit for a canoe or boat and is not to be swam in either. This is a natural habit for working beavers so it is perfect for the view only.
The composting toilet requires;
1."scoop a poop" of the dirt mix.
2. Everyone MUST sit.
Winter stays between Nov- April must top up the Pelletstove with the wood pellets provided. This must be done BEFORE the hopper runs dry, otherwise the stove won't fire (safety feature). Please top up hopper in am when you wake and pm before bed to prevent stove from running dry. The hopper is located on the top of the stove- lift the lid, fill with pellets, then shut lid.
