About this property

Blue Star Creekside Lodge

Welcome to Blue Star, where Montana’s serenity, adventure, and a touch of Finnish magic await!

Experience the magic of Montana in our 3k square foot Creekside Lodge, on our healing resort property between Whitefish and Columbia Falls. Surrounded by 20 acres of forest, the lodge has a year-round creek flowing through the property, views to our therapy horses’ meadow, a walking trail into the woods past our organic garden, custom-built Finnish saunas across the creek bridge, and a spacious back porch to experience the tranquility of Montana.

The lodge sleeps 8+ people:
-Master Suite: King Bed & En Suite Bathroom w/ tub, walk-in shower, hot tub access
-Guest Suite: King Bed & En Suite Bathroom w/ tub
-Studio Suite: King Bed, Queen Bed, and En Suite Bathroom w/ a shower
-Upstairs TV room: Alcove Twin Bed overlooking the horse paddock

**Additionally, there are 3 fold-away memory foam cots that can be set up to accommodate further guests in the lodge. There can be a grand total of 8 beds (5 permanent, 3 fold away).

With the rental of the Lodge, you’ll have reserved Lodge parking, a spacious back porch that includes outdoor seating, a hot tub, a propane BBQ, fully stocked kitchen, and a fire pit— all overlooking babbling Garnier Creek and the large grassy area adjacent to the forest. The porch is the perfect place to watch the deer and birds that frequent the creek daily!

There's other lodging on-site and the grounds are shared, so we've created a serene haven for everyone. You'll also share access to:
-A winding walking trail that weaves through the untamed woods on our property.
-Plenty of space to relax, play, and soak up the Montana sunshine, whether it's throwing frisbees, sunbathing, or simply gazing at the endless sky.

For additional fees, we offer access to unique and authentic wellness experiences for our guests, including:

-Traditional Finnish Sauna: Tucked away on the property’s edge with private back deck overlooking the forest— 5 min walk from the Lodge. Sweat out toxins and melt away your worries year-round; our high-end sauna ranges from 140-200 degrees Fahrenheit.

-Outdoor cold plunge tub: Awaken your senses before or after your sauna.

-Finnish Peat Therapy Experience: Looking for additional detox support during your stay? Elevate your sauna experience with our ancient Finnish peat ritual, the first of its kind in the United States! Hand-shoveled fresh peat imported from pristine Finnish bogs applied to the skin reduces cellulite and inflammation, boosts collagen, and leaves your skin silky smooth. Guided by Tanjariitta, your expert Finnish Sauna Therapist, this transformative journey will leave you feeling revitalized and connected to Nordic nature wisdom.

-Cellulite, Circulation, and Clay Mask treatments: Ask us about our sauna packages: they include dry cupping, rose petal foot baths, dry brushing, immune boosting protocols, and more.

-Private intensives include: yoga classes, reflexology, acupuncture, massage, sound healing, cupping, essential oil workshops, somatic therapy, expressive arts sessions, dance/movement practice, processing/ integration sessions and more.

And if you're dreaming of a larger gathering, send us a message to discuss renting the entire property for family reunions, healing retreats, corporate events, workshops, and more. We also have other lodging options and we'd be happy to connect you with the perfect fit for your needs.

About the host

From teaching yoga to backpacking in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, I love every minute living in Montana. I co-own a rock shop called Sticks & Stonez in downtown Whitefish, about 7 miles away from the property. Blue Star is magical and I'm excited to be able to share it!

Why they chose this property

Stepping on to the property at Blue Star feels like a healing oasis. We have co-created a magical property with the wild forest creatures, babbling creek and trees.

What makes this property unique

When you're here, you are only 10 minutes door to door from Glacier International Airport but you feel a million miles away in a secluded forest paradise. We are close to all of the amenities of both Whitefish and Columbia Falls and yet you can enjoy our forest, creek and wildlife undisturbed by the city.
