Located in a secluded neighborhood, in the middle of town, 'Horseshoe Hideaway' is comfortably situated back off of a back road, fully enclosed by a fence, and ensconced by a generous yard and mature wooded area. With all the convenience of traveling around the island with ease, this home allows guests to drive or bike to Maddox Blvd, the beach or to the Main Street shops within minutes. Enjoy the outdoors on the fully screened in porches located on both the front and the back of the home, or take advantage of the generous back deck (accessed by a ramp or stairs) and supplied with a large gas grill, picnic table and Adirondack chairs. Inside the home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a separate dining room, living room and eat in kitchen. There are several seating areas where guests can spread out or congregate as a group. The home is appointed with everything you need to enjoy a vacation at the Beach. This cute-as-a-button rancher home is waiting for your family vacation! Clean, comfortable and modest best describe the single-level home; there's an open kitchen, living and dining area that opens up to a front AND back screened porch. Enjoy all of the outdoor space from one of the 2 screened porches, or the spacious back deck and back yard! Located on a side street just off of Ridge Road, 'Horseshoe Hideaway' is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Chincoteague, as well as the "Beach Road." Our family made the choice to vacation this year in Chincoteague. This house was perfect for all of us. The space allowed us to spread out and have some downtime. The location of the house was fantastic and it was easy to get to everything. Looking forward to staying here again.

Amazing

This was a very enjoyable stay. This property is amazing. Location is close to everything but yet private with a completely fenced in yard for kids to play in. Coastal Shore Vacations were beyond wonderful. The keurig was not working so we notified them and they had a brand new one there the next day! Cannot say enough good things about them! Highly recommended this property and Coastal Shore Vacations. 😃

A family favorite!

Out of the dozen places we have stayed on the island, this house is among our favorites. It was the perfect amount of space for our crew (4 adults, 3 kids). The kitchen was very large and well stocked (including an impressive blender). We loved eating together around the large dining table and grilling out. The screen porches were a dream, as well as the fenced in yard! The laundry room is HUGE complete with an area to store your outdoor/ beach things and put on shoes. We brought our own baby things including outlet plugs/ baby locks. But no need for gates. The location is PERFECT. The reason we gave it 4 stars is due to the queen mattress in one of the bedrooms. It's not very good at all and the bed didn't seem stable (neither did the twin frame/head board). These 2 beds kept it from being 5 stars. It was unusual to unpack the laundry service bags and distribute (not soft) towels and sheets myself. But I did not deduct a star for that, because I am comparing it with other stays and being a bit bougie. (Also, the vaccums need replacing/ fixing. ) Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would love to return (and rent from Coastal Shore again).

100th Pony Swim Accommodations

Check in was a breeze at this property as it simply required a code that was texted just before check in time. The house itself was very clean and starter supplies for kitchen cleaning and laundry were provided, as well as an assortment of dishes, pots, silverware, etc. for use while we were there. We bought the linen package and this was color-coded by bed size which was great too! The only issues we encountered were that the house had a strong odor, which may have been from moisture/humidity or something else. We tried to adjust the thermostat to remove more humidity from the air, but the smell lingered. While inside you got used to it, but the second you left and reentered there it was. Upon contacting the company, they suggested it was cleaning products and to air the place out--if this was a cleaning product smell, they need to change products ASAP. The only other complaint was minor, we started out with two less than full rolls of toilet paper and had to purchase our own as this was the "starter amount" provided. Two full rolls would have been sufficient, but we were made to find some extra rolls during our vacation. Location for the pony swim, parade, and carnival, was top notch though, right in the middle of everything.
