Wonderful stay in a very peaceful locale. Very close to Shenandoah River State Park and the apparent best burger in VA, Spelunkers! Host was very accommodating and answered all the questions we had before our stay.
Lovely house in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed watching the sun rise - and set - over the mountains. Very quiet, yet easy to reach town. Highly recommend driving to PattyO's in Little Washington for lunch. Yum!
Second time staying at this house. View out the back is wonderful! House was clean and has all basics needed for family of four. Great for a trip to Shenandoah NP!
Loved our stay here and loved the views! Such great house with everything we needed and Jim was a great host! We had a wonderful time in the hot tub and in the cabin and it was close to everything! Highly recommend!
Our family of 6 adults enjoyed the weekend at this lovely home. It was a perfect location to access Shenandoah National Park. We enjoyed the views and hot tub after our hike. We also used the gas grill to make dinner together one night.
House was perfect for us with stunning views. My favorite part was waking up early to have coffee while the sun rises over the mountains.

Loved spending time on this property
My family had a great weekend at this property. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved having our morning coffee in the screened porch and looking at the beautiful mountains. We spent a lot of time exploring the great attractions that are just a few minutes drive from the house. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable living room in the evening and looking out at the large bush that attracted colorful butterflies. We want to return for another visit in the fall.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Very clean and comfortable and the views outside are breathtaking! A quiet retreat in nature among the mountains of the Shenandoah Valley.
This place has the most beautiful views! We were lucky to have perfectly clear skies and pleasant weather during our stay. Thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the porch, stargazing from the fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub. Amazing trip!
The rental was beautiful. My only complaint is the toilet paper was thin. Otherwise, it was a breathtaking location and a nice home! We enjoyed our stay!

From the owner: "I’m so glad you had a great stay! We use thinner toilet paper because we are on a well. Thank you for the feedback!"
House was very nice. In a wonderful quiet area with excellent 360 degrees Mountain View’s. If you are looking for relaxing times but close t everything that want to do or need this is it.
Great getaway. House clean and comfortable, ‘just right’. Location wonderful! Watched bluebirds, doves, hummingbirds and sparrows on flowers in the old flower border. Convenient to entire Shenandoah Valley and the Park. Hope we can visit again.
We had a wonderful anniversary weekend. This was the perfect place to be out in nature and yet only a 15 minute drive into town. Place was clean. Screened in porch was great and so was the hot tub. Took a minute to figure out how to work the range and coffee pot but after we figured that out it was all good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful place with great access to The Shenandoah area!
Happ to have found this place with such great access to hiking, wine tasting and checking in to several towns. The property is lovely and clean. We had everything we needed during our stay. The hot tub is big and clean with a great view of Skyline drive. Unfortunatley, there is some home construction being done below the property and someone saw fit to park a large dump truck with its dump up, right in front of the home. So sad we did t have the view we expected.Regardless of that, it’s a great location and stocked with all you’ll need for a great stay near the Shenandoah mountains!

Beautiful family get away
The home was perfect and set in a quiet space among the mountains. The hot tub overlooked abeautiful meadow and mountain scene that was breathtaking. The home was clean and well equipped. We loved having the ability to clean our hiking clothes each day in the washer/dryer. The homes caretaker was responsive, prompt, and extremely friendly. I hope to return to this same home again soon!
The property was simply wonderful. It met all of our needs and expectations (though it could have used a hook for a towel by the shower in the master bathroom and a ceiling fan on the screen porch and a mixing bowl). Despite those minor things, it was lovely and completely comfortable.
