great views

the house was great, we had a couple of problems but the owners handled them quickly. The views were wonderful and the beach was great, we walked on the beach almost every day. Loved the location and we had a couple of day trips to see other areas. Enjoyed both cooking in and traveling to a few of the local restaurants.

The location is great. Enjoyed the stay BUT:Bedroom Layout was awkward for our party of six. Lower bathroom was to smaĺl to be ofmuch use.Needs some shade for the deck and patio Sun Umbrellas would help.House needs some maintenance. Upper patio door does not lock.Upper bedroom AC kept tripping the circuit. After a tech tried to solve the problem it was to noisy to run at night. Dishwasher did not work but was replaced 3days later.

We followed up with the homeowner, who would like to share the following:- The bedroom layout and bathroom size are accurately shown in the listing photos and were available to review before booking.- Due to frequent damage from strong winds, we no longer provide sun umbrellas—but multiple sturdy ones are available in the garage for beach or patio use.- The upper patio door has a functioning arm bar lock. No further AC noise issues were reported after the technician resolved the tripping concern.- Once notified, we had a technician out within 24 hours and replaced the unit the following day.We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. Your input helps us continue delivering exceptional stays.

Great location

My daughters and I had a great relaxing time. Beautiful location directly on the beach. We were practically the only people on the beach. That is why Flagler is great. The house is very nice, it had plenty of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, bath and beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and other supplies. It also has plenty of outside chairs and a couple beach umbrellas. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The only thing we could see it needs are new skillets and cooking pots. The 2 skillets there and a couple pots are Teflon coated and the coating is all scratched and flaking off. Not safe to use so we just bought a cheap skillet to use while there. Other than that a perfect home and one of the best locations we have rented. The host was very good also she answered the questions we had very quickly. We highly reco this home for a relaxing and wonderful vacation.

Amazing location! Horrible Beds!!

Can’t ask for a better location! This is the second time staying at the beach house. The reason I gave it 3-stars are the beds. They are the most uncomfortable hard as a rock mattresses and rickety beds I’ve ever slept on and there are no comforters only thin sheet and blanket. The pillow are also uncomfortable and I walk away w no sleep and a crick in my neck. I do t want to take all my bedding w me when traveling. For the price of what we’re paying the beds should be way more comfortable. PLEASE FIX!

Hi Zeina, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. After reading your feedback, the owners wanted to share the following: We very much appreciate your repeat stay and feedback. Since you had stayed at the house before, everything should have been the same from your initial stay to your second stay, with the exception possibly that the larger bed in the main guest room may not have been there depending on when you first stayed with us. Prior to any guests staying at our home, we purchased a memory foam topper for the upstairs king bed in addition to new memory foam and luxury hotel pillows for all the beds in the primary and main guest suites. This is the first time a guest has said anything about either pillows or beds being uncomfortable and/or needing thick comforter blankets. The home is located in a hot and humid area, so we chose not to have thick comforter-style blankets because of the climate, as the home stays temperate year-round. We also have a number of extra blankets in the second blue TV console drawer labeled "throw blankets" for our guests to use if they need or want extra bundling during the day or at night. Regardless of the above, we understand that personal preferences can vary, and it's unfortunate that the pillows and beds didn't align with your specific comfort needs during your recent stay. We hope that it will not prevent you from coming back for a future stay. Thanks for your review and for choosing to stay with us. We hope that you will give us another try on a future visit to the Flager/Daytona/St. Augustine Beaches area!
