Fantastic location in a great little town. Quiet, comfortable accommodation near beach, blow hole, restaurants. Recommend!

Nice but missing little things

The unit itself was good and in a very good location. It's comfortable and clean and has the main things you need for a stay. The photos are a good representation of the unit. We love staying in the Manning Street area. It is a short walk to coffee shops, beach and park and close enough to the main part of Kiama that you really don't need to get into the car. However there were some things that brought it down for us. Firstly, locating the right car park was confusing as there are two carparks and the one you are meant to go in is under building 2, even though the unit is in building 1. There's no aircon in the bedrooms. This isn't a real problem because you can open the doors and get the breeze but it may be a problem in summer or if you are a light sleeper. Then lots of little things were not quite right. A missing light bulb in a lamp, coffee was provided but no milk, there was no dish drying rack, towels but no face towels, the beds/pillows/sheets were not the most comfortable, then lastly to throw out rubbish at the end of the stay, we realised that you need to pack it in the car and take it to the other carpark at the other end of the building - not their fault, but maybe the instructions could be a bit better. For the price, we expected these little things to be right - we have had much better from similar priced places in the area. I'd stay in the area again, but not at this property at this price.
