Renovated, off-grid and open plan, this converted barn consists of a modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is situated on the mezzanine level with a comfortable king-sized bed. Below that is a versatile second living area with a day bed that can be converted into a double bed. The main living area opens on to a verandah with stunning views of UKI's mountains and valleys.

We had a wonderful stay with our 7 and 4 year old children, to do the northern rivers rail trail. The house was tidy and had everything needed including firewood for the firepit (or fireplace in cooler weather) and a selection of games and puzzles. It was so lovely having an outdoor bath while watching the cows graze and wander by. The owners farm dog Wal was so sweet and friendly too.

A beautiful off the grid stay

We stayed here for three nights and it was a great escape from city life. Loved every moment of it. Wal the dog was friendly and our girl pup had a crush on him and he took her exploring nearby. We will definitely be back we had a wonderful time!

One of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Very well appointed with everything and more!! With no TV and limited phone and internet it was simply perfect for a restful quiet stay. It is the only property I have stayed in over the years where the wood supply for the fireplace was excellent, with varying sizes from kindling to large. The biggest bonus was the outside bath under the trees with plenty of hot water. Alonna lives on the property and evreready to assist when necessary. I will be back next winter, i can assure you.
