Great cozy house. Be prepared to go high up the mountain in a winding road. The only thing I would say is to have some more towels. Owner was very responsive.

we loved our stay here! The house was so cozy with lots of comfy seating for everyone. Nice view of Grandfather mountain. Good communication about check in and out process. I would definitely book this home again!
The host was amazing. Easy communication, quick to answer, seemed very interested in helpingThe house is too cool. Pictures do not do it justice. Everything worked well, kitchen well stocked, basic supplies on hand for food prep, bed was very comfortable, and most of all very clean. Fireplace was awesome. We will book again if we travel back to this area
Amazing home for our Fall break. Would recommend 10 out of 10.

The house and property were lovely, tucked up on the mountain. Sitting on the deck around the fire pit talking and laughing with our grandson was great!
My family and I (3 small kids) really enjoyed this cozy little place. Great location about half way between Boone and Blowing Rock with a really awesome fireplace!

This is a wonderful home to enjoy your vacation.
We had a 5 star experience. A beautiful home that is well equipped and has wonderful views. We do recommend that visitor allocate time to spend and enjoy this lovely home. We will be back again and this time we will slow down and enjoy this home and our surroundings.
Nice place! Very nice neighborhood. Very clean house. Lots of good seating and lighting inside. Owners were so nice to leave a gift. Beds were comfortable. Loved the multi level house, windows, deck, and fire pits. It's a cozy homey old school vibe. Could use a little more stocking with towels, blankets, and household/kitchen items, but it's such a short drive from town it was fine.

We’re always glad to hear when a home’s charm and comfort come through. We followed up with the homeowner, who would like to share the following:- Like many vacation rentals, we provide 2 bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths per bedroom as part of our standard setup. During the next turnover, our team confirmed there were 2 blankets in the king bedroom closet and 6 additional blankets in the downstairs closet.- We're not exactly sure which household or kitchen items were missing, as we've received consistent feedback that the kitchen is well-stocked—but we're always happy to take another look and improve where we can.Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Your input helps us continue delivering exceptional stays.

Great time
We loved our time in the house and area. It was nice to stay in a house with the kitchen fully equipped for those times we chose to cook. Owners were generous with little things like trash bags, soaps and detergents so we didn’t have to rush out to the store. Picture frame was a nice touch. The owner was kind to notify of maintenance workers planned and offered to reschedule if not okay. Nice people.
The house is nice, 😊 plenty of rooms, nice decor. Very steep roads

Great Mountain Get away
Loved my stay and will absolutely be back. The house has everything you need, a great view, awesome location between Boone and Banner Elk, also close to Blowing Rock. The neighborhood is so friendly, walkable, paved and very close to my favorite hiking spots. The home was extremely cozy, beds are comfy and I loved the big wide-open windows. They are dog friendly which is a huge plus -- my pup really loved hanging out on the back deck!
Amazing and well-thought out house with a great private location and views. All the amenities you would possibly need and a really comfortable stay for our family of four. Perfect location to get the best of the winter activities...Appalachian Ski and Hawksnest Tubing both 20 minutes away. Kids loved it and taught our daughter how to start a fire in the fireplace. Looking forward to our next stay; keep up the great work!
The description doesn’t do this home justice. Beautiful, well maintained, AMAZING views.

Perfect setting for Thanksgiving
We met family in Boone to celebrate Thanksgiving. Angel Stop was convenient for meeting them and doing sightseeing and shopping. The home was very clean and appointed. The kitchen is super well stocked for meal preparation and entertaining. Check in and check out were seamless. A definite keeper!
We enjoyed our stay. The view from the side deck was great. We had our morning coffee and lingered on the deck most days. We liked how quiet the neighborhood is and we’re able to walk our dog without traffic. We lie the proximity to Boone & Blowing Rock. Neal communicated very well and had a nice gift for us when we arrived. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces were clean, comfortable and roomy. We’ll definitely stay again.
We spent 3 nights in this charming home! My husband and our three year old son enjoyed our time here. The home was so tastefully decorated, all while being incredibly toddler friendly. I was concerned prior to our trip about this being toddler friendly, however once there I was very comfortable with him running around! We did bring a baby gate to keep him on the porch and from going downstairs. The home was also incredibly clean, which is always a huge plus! The community was close to everything and so quiet and nice! We will definitely be staying here again!
This property was great for our needs, as we were attending a wedding at Crestwood Inn which was 5 min away! It felt tucked away but not too far from Boone and blowing rock. Unfortunately the weather was rainy so we weren’t able to use any of the decks or outside things but that would be nice on a pretty day. The heat wasn’t working properly when we arrived so it was pretty chilly, but the property manager was easily attainable and helped resolve the manner quickly. I would stay here again with a small group (since the bathrooms were shared and the downstairs room was a little cramped.)

Great house and location!
We loved our peaceful 4-night stay here! Everything was as-pictured and cozy. The view of the surrounding mountains was quintessential. The kitchen was modern and had everything to cook/grill during our stay. The backyard firepit was a fun bonus. It felt very secluded, and we saw several deer passing through the yard. Exactly what we needed to recharge during our getaway. Thank you!
Advice: buy extra toilet paper before you drive away from the grocery stores in Boone, as there is only one roll included per bathroom. Otherwise, everything was well-appointed!
This is a beautifully maintained home. Functional, easy to maneuver kitchen with lots of seating upstairs and down. If you have a mobility issue with steps or on uneven surfaces outside, this is not the home for you. Also, if you aren't an experienced mountain driver or have difficulty with curvy, hilly mountain roads without guardrails especially at night or during bad weather, then you may not like the travel to reach the home. If you don't mind and are looking for a spacious property with excellent hosts, then please give this home a try.
An old friend and I spent the weekend in this spacious, yet cozy home catching up! This was great place to catch up. It was bigger than we needed, but it felt just like home away from home-except for the tremendous views! It was a bit breezy and cool to sit out, but the views were beautiful through the window! It was immaculately clean and I’m picky! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We loved the mid center modern decor-so beautifully decorated. Just a small thing I loved. There was lots of lighting! Most rentals I have stayed in have been dark, making it difficult to read. But not here!
It was a perfect stay with excellent, prompt communication between us and the owner.
