About this property
Woodsy Retreat-2 Bedroom cabin
The cabin located close to many incredible trails and scenic drives being
that it's about 5 minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance and
30 minutes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I recommend
using the app AllTrails to view all the nearby trails.
Maggie Valley has the Cataloochee Ski area, snow tubing, a winery, golf
course, fairgrounds which host various festivals and events, craft and
antique stores, nearby trout fishing, and Lake Junaluska which is great for
kayaking or paddleboarding. You are also less than 20 minutes from
gorgeous trails like Soco Falls (10 minutes away), Waterrock Knob, and
Hemphill Bald Trail.
Asheville is about 30-40 minutes away and is rich in culture (museums,
the Biltmore Estate, arts district), great music venues, amazing
restaurants, and breweries, as well as activities such as kayaking on the
French Broad River, and the NC arboretum and botanical garden.
Cherokee is 30 minutes away which is a neat town and has a great
mountain biking trail system and casino.
