Ahhh, Chincoteague Island—where the salty breeze of the marsh tickles your senses and wild ponies roam free, painting a picture straight out of a dream. Once you step foot on our little slice of paradise, it’s like leaving a piece of your heart behind. But let’s be real—life gets busy. Taking off for a full week every year? Not always easy. Maybe you’re more of a Weekend Warrior—a fan of quick escapes that pack a punch. Sound like you? Then the Assateague Inn is your perfect match! Whether it’s a 3-night getaway or an 11-night adventure, we’re here to make your visit unforgettable.


Our Studio Suites have a Private Bedroom with queen size bed, and a separate living room with queen sleeper sofa. There is also a spacious Full Bath, and a Kitchenette fully equipped with cookware and dishes, 2 burner stove top, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and eating area. Our Studio Suites accommodate up to five guests. Relax in the AC and enjoy Flat Screen Cable TV and Free WiFi after a fun-filled day on the Beach, or slip out to the refreshing Pool to cool off. 

The Inn is located directly on the Creek, and is a great spot for Crabbing, or simply taking in the Herons and Egrets fishing for their morning meals. Located just off of Maddox Boulevard, you're only a short bike or car ride from Mini Golf, Dining, and of course, Assateague National Seashore! When you're not enjoying playing on the waterfront, relax on the huge landscaped greens with plenty of Picnic Tables and Barbecue Stations to cook up the Fresh Catch of the Day.

Very clean, recently renovated unit. View of the marsh was great. Perfect for couples getaway. Kitchenette was stocked with needed items such as soap, sponge, paper towels. We plan to stay here again.

Chincoteague

We had a great time on our vacation. The Assateague Inn was as pictured and was the perfect size for my husband and myself. The only part I didn’t like was the towel policy. We received 4 towels with washcloths and hand towels that was supposed to last the whole time we were there…at a beach town! Other than that…it was great and I’d stay again.

Very Nice

Rental was just as shown on line. Very clean. Unfortunately couldn't stay the entire time due to health problems. Would rent again, only on 1st floor.
