This was the perfect little place for a couple to stay for a few days. It’s basic: no stove, tiny fridge, but all as described. We enjoyed sitting in the screened-in porch in the evenings and mornings. It’s a quiet area and close to all the important spots on Chincoteague. Would recommend!

The cozy cottage was definitely cozy! It’s the perfect little cabin for 2 people and a week getaway! Sitting and hanging out on the front screened in porch was wonderful! There’s enough hot water for just a quick shower but other than that the place was great!

This was a cozy no frills stay. A quick bike ride to town. Very clean. The screened in porch with rocking chairs was great in the evening. Shower was clean and hot. Very basic but we were there to see the sights and be outside. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Cozy Cottage. The cottage is small, but it was just my husband and me so it was perfect. We loved the screened in porch to sit with our coffee in the morning. It was very well kept. Very clean. The shower was wonderful. It was just an overall nice time for us. We joined our daughter and son in law and grandkids for part of their vacation. They stayed right down the street. Will definitely try to make it there again! Highly recommend for a couple.

Good for a quick weekend getaway! The house is a little smaller than the pictures make it look like so it can be cramped at times. There is little counter space so plan to eat out each night. The inside shower only has about 5 minutes worth of hot water so shower quick but it was overall pretty nice.

Perfect place for our trip. We love tiny houses, and this one did not disappoint! Loved the outdoor shower after a long beach day! I was very impressed with the water pressure and temperature of both the indoor and outdoor showers. Located close enough to everything we wanted to do, and when we had to door dash snacks the location made it super easy. The screened in porch was the perfect location for our morning coffee and evening tea. I hope to return the next time I go to visit Assateague .

This was a wonderful stay, and I wouldn't change much about it and only offer up a couple details hoping future guests will know. -Byo sheets and towels isn't in the main listing, but is shared in the handbook/check-in instructions.-Never had a message besides auto app messages from the host. I didn't have any issues requiring anything from them, but all was very quiet. -Despite being very clean, there are ants ready to pounce on any food left on the counter. ( lost a bag of tortilla chips that were folded but not clamped shut )

Host is very rude! I parked my vehicle with a trailer in the front of the property because there were no signs stating “no parking” and because there’s literally nothing but grass for parking he tried charging me 235 dollars for “damaging his property” because tire marks were left in his grass. There’s a plumbing issue that when you shower it backs up and gurgles into the sink in the living space that smells like sewer. The shack is cute, but the rudeness and sense of entitlement from the host absolutely tarnished anything positive. I told the host he needs to clearly label where parking is not authorized. If you don’t want your grass to be ruined, especially in an area that is easily saturated from rain then invest in putting gravel in the areas that you want people to park. Don’t complain when the only area that you provide for parking is grass and expect they’re not to be tire marks from vehicles when it rains.
