We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book this home again. The host’s communication was excellent — prompt and professional. The house was beautiful, spotless, and tastefully decorated, with comfortable furniture, beds, and great amenities. We especially enjoyed the deck, fire pit area, and having a garage. Property was very nice and clean. The area was perfect, secluded, and close to the boat launch and trailheads. We would definitely stay here again. May not be the best location for seniors or unsteady people. The driveway is really steep and hauling trailers was a bit of a challenge.

Quiet Get Away

This home hit all the marks. The garage was a great surprise as it was an extra living space. The house was very clean when we arrived and was very close to other family in the area. Excellent place to get away for sure.

Second stay at this Cabin

This was our second stay at this cabin and it did not disappoint. Our second time was just as memorable and wonderful as the first. The property was cleanly and stocked with all the essentials, plus some! Items like beach towels, sand toys, a pack and play, and puzzles came in handy for us! We love the location of this property. It’s close to the Sam-o-set park and beach, and equal distance from the North and South State parks. We love this place!

Wonderful weekend getaway

Everything about our stay was wonderful! Check in was easy, the home was clean and cozy and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. I was able to communicate with the property manager easily about extending our stay. We had a fun stay here with our family of 6. It is a quick drive to both the North and South State Parks, the stores, and a park. The house is in a quiet neighborhood which we enjoyed. I love that there were games, puzzles and chalk for my kids to use! Overall, a fabulous place to stay and will definitely be booking again in the future.

Excellent VRBO for our family

Our family (3 young adults ages 18-22 years plus mom and dad) stayed at this VRBO for 5 nights. It was absolutely perfect. The description of the home that they advertised matched exactly as to how the house was. Check in was very easy. The house was extremely clean and the owners thought of everything you might need to use during your stay. Comfortable beds, furniture, environment. Great location. 2 deer greeted us right in the front yard one evening as we returned home from our day trip. Our family LOVED this home and we would definitely recommend it to future travelers.

Family Weekend to Higgins Lake.

Our host Alysia was amazing. Very accommodating and answered all my questions. The house was a very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen that had everything you’d need. Towels and bedding were great. Fans and A/C We loved the garage with the tv in there where the kids played outside and we had plenty of space to leave coolers. About a 1/2 mile walk down to water. With lots of hills. House does have a hill down to the house which made it slightly difficult to park pontoons. We managed and parked at the top of the road. We truly enjoyed our stay!
