We had a wonderful and comfortable stay on our trip to Calgary! The hosts were responsive and sent us lots of info about the house and the property. The beds were comfortable and it was a great place to relax and enjoy some down time and prep meals. It was well equipped with everything we needed, would absolutely recommend if you are travelling with extended or large families or groups.
Jaret was really kind and accommodating with arrangements to support elderly family members arrive safely. The house is lovely, comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location. Our family would book again.
We had such a great time. It was a beautiful property. Well kept beautiful neighbourhood and very comfortable inside. They had everything you needed and everything was very well kept and clean.
Great location. Everything we needed was there. The hosts were attentive to any problems or requests. Loved the beds. Very spacious. Would stay again. Thanks!
Beautiful home located in a lovely neighborhood. The place is spacious and tidy. It's perfect for a group of 10 guests. Each bedroom, including the basement has its own bathroom. The host Jaret is very responsive to any questions. We would definitely recommend this place to friends who are visiting Calgary. Short walk to the dead end street 33 Ave SW for a great view of the Calgary skyline. Nice walk to see the neighborhood through the park next to the Elbow River down to the Rideau Park Suspension Bridge.

Property was 'as described' in the listing with several major descriptions left out, such as the extensive water damage in both the 2nd level bedroom ceilings. Brown stained & cracked ceiling drywall running the width of the bedrooms. The front bedroom ceiling had so much damage that the ceiling was 'drooping down. The third level bath has water damage underneath and within the vanity. When brought to the attention of the "hosts", a maintenance man came over and surveyed the cracked ceilings on level 2 and the brown water stained vanity on level 3. We told this man of the concerns, the smells and that we were forced to leave the exhaust fans 'on even after showering to lessen the musty odors. This man said, 'there is no problem with mold, these are old stains; over a year old.' After he left and reported to the hosts that we 'had not smelled anything'. With this false report of his, the hosts were dismissive of our concerns and said that the areas we saw were going to be "fixed" after the season. Interesting that the maintenance man said, 'the damage has been there for at least a year', so when does the season end? The peeling, discolored and 'drooping ceilings should have fixed. It is unfortunate that the hosts seem more concerned with making top dollar rather than with the health of their guests. We were not able to fully utilize the property due to the exisiting and undisclosed damage that was not described on the VRBO website.

Thank you for your feedback. We strongly disagree with several of the statements in your review.
The areas you are referring to are a few old cosmetic water stains from a previous issue that was repaired long ago. There is no active leak, no structural damage, and no mold. We sent our maintenance technician to inspect your concerns during your stay, and he confirmed exactly that.
We have been professionally managing short-term rental properties for over 10 years and have hosted thousands of guests. During that time, we’ve become very familiar with the difference between genuine maintenance concerns and complaints that appear to be made in an attempt to obtain a refund or discount. Unfortunately, this situation falls into the latter category.
You were the only guest to raise this concern despite many guests staying in the home before and after your visit. The cosmetic ceiling marks do not affect the safety or functionality of the property, and we were transparent that they were already scheduled to be repaired during a planned maintenance period.
We take our guests’ health and safety seriously. If there had been any evidence of mold or an active water issue, the property would have been removed from service immediately. We stand by the condition of our home and encourage future guests to read our many other reviews for an accurate picture of the experience we provide.
Great house for our trip to Calgary. Quiet neighborhood, close enough to downtown, and plenty of space. If your party needs all five beds, let the host know ahead of time. They have to unlock two of them and provide bedding. Would definitely stay again.
