Situated in Caloundra’s Kings Beach, this Salt on Kings apartment is an easy 100m walk to the surf and has stunning ocean views, views to picturesque Pumicestone Passage and, is a short walk or drive to Bulcock Beach that looks over to the tip of Bribie Island.  The ocean waters, sandy shores, seaside picnic areas and grassy knolls and beachside boardwalk make this apartment a classic seaside getaway.  Kings Beach and calm waters of Pumicestone Passage are perfect for surfing, swimming, paddling, Jet Ski or fishing.

The apartment is modern and spacious, has ducted air-conditioning, 2.5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people comfortably.

There are cafes, restaurants, bars and movie theatre within minutes walk or drive away.  Salt on Kings is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Caloundra, a 20 minute drive to Underwater World and 25 minute drive to Australia Zoo. On Sunday, is the well-known Caloundra Street Fair with over 200 stalls of handcrafts, coffee, gourmet food, produce and flowers to explore.

The Sunshine Coast Airport is a 40 minutes drive away and is an easy 1 hour drive from Brisbane Airport . Maroochydore and Mooloolaba are a close 30 minute drive. Noosa is under an hour’s drive from Caloundra.

Great stay

The unit had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday overlooking the beach from almost every room. The spacious balcony was great for kicking back and watching surf board riders, hang-gliders and passing ships. We enjoyed some great food at nearby restaurants and did very well with our purchases from the shops in Bulcock Street.

Wonderful stay in Kings Beach

5 of us stayed at Salt on Kings in October 2024. We had a wonderful holiday and appreciated the size of the apartment and the smooth check in and out process. We would definitely book here again. Great pool and spa with excellent BBQ amenities. 5 minute walk to the beach.

Great location

Great Location Large Apartment although as noted in the description the third bedroom is very small but adequate for our needs. Walking distance to beach and restaurant/cafes. Although apartment is air conditioned in the lounge and main bedroom the other 2 rooms do get quite warm on hot days Fan is provided but is free standing so does get in the way and I would be worried about having it on if you had young children. Ceiling fans would be better but this did not detract from our stay

The brief summary is an unit that has not been very well maintained, the water cylinder blew while we were there lost of signs of previous water damage, hygiene would have got a 2 out of 10 score so overall disappointing, and a shame as it would take a lot of effort or cash to have made a big diffance difference.disappointmedisappointing
