About this property

A newly built cozy loft cabin next to crown land and on one of the best spring fed fishing lakes in Ontario. The cabin sleeps four and is equipped with basic cooking supplies, a comfy queen bed with linens, a futon, dining table and kitchenette with toaster oven, coffee maker, indoor electric fire place, outdoor BBQ, comfortable lounge chairs, outdoor washroom facilities with sink and running water, outdoor shower access and lake access. Kayak and boat rental (dependent on availability). Hike on the trails, photograph wildlife, bring your ATV or snowmobile, bring your boat and do some fishing, travel to Bancroft for local shopping or explore Bon Echo Provincial Park which is only an 1.5 hours away. The local marina sells camping essentials as well as Kawartha Dairy ice cream and the stars will take your breath away in the night sky while you are sitting around the cozy campfire. The property is located next to crown land so they are is an abundance of wildlife, birds, turtles and breathtaking views. Filled with options to explore or just come, sit back and relax to get away and rejuvenate in nature.

Cozy cabin getaway

Great accommodations for our small family and dog as we explored Hastings County. Lots of fun in, on, and and out of the water. Jason and Susie were gracious hosts and kindly shared their knowledge the Weslemkoon area to help us get the most out of our visit. Looking forward to seeing the Eco Retreat continue to grow!

Great new property and owner

Booked last minute and the owner was very flexible and friendly. Was readily available during our stay in case we needed anything, but didn't hover around. Fantastic experience, will definitely be back!
