Currimundi is one of the best beachside towns on the Sunshine Coast. Visitors are double blessed with a natural lake that connects to a long and unspoilt stretch of surf beach - it is the perfect place to relax for a weekend or extended holiday.

Kids and adults alike love the lake's large expanse of water ideal for swimming, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. Over the dunes is an off leash, patrolled beach perfect for swimming, surfing and your furry friends!

Both the lake and beach are pleasant spots for a picnic and there are also a number of tables and chairs as well as BBQ facilities. Alternatively, you can purchase food, drinks and ice-creams from lakefront cafes Thrills and Coco's.

We had a lovely short break stay in Currimundi thanks to Courtney and her delightful little house. All the facilities worked well. The house was very comfortable during a particularly hot few days and the location so close to Ballinger Beach - doggie heaven - and a couple of local sports fields was fantastic. Courtney was very good with her communication and responses to enquiries. Highly recommended.

Pet Friendly in Currimundi!!!

We had a great time staying at this house. Very clean and has big grass yard. Highly recommended and would come back again. Short walk to Currimundi beach and pet friendly. We stayed here with our dog.

Sunshine getaway

Perfect location for us with dog friendly park and beach close by. Also near to shops and eating out at Dicky Beach Surf Club as well as Moon Bear sushi was a great break from cooking. Plenty of space and lovely outdoor area to relax. Large kitchen, comfortable beds and bedrooms and a large ensuite made for a good week vacation for our family of three plus puppy.

This was our 1st trip with new puppy. I think there is too much vegetation (leaves) in the backyard and there should be side fencing so dogs can't run around the property like it is now. Otherwise, the place is nice and clean and close to beach and shops.

Great House

We had a family reunion here and the house was perfect. Nicely renovated and styled. Rear deck would be great in summer but a bit cold during our stay. Location is very quiet and conveniently located to shops, beach and motorway. Owner was very accommodating allowing us to park our caravan out front during our stay. Highly recommend.
