I am a mom, an artist, and a scientist with a love of the Muskokas! My husband and I were lucky enough to find this lakefront grandfathered property that was originally built in the early 1900's. The beams are original, as is the crib dock! Previously, one would have to use the stairs to access the cottage, making this a historical gem on this gorgeous lake (in fact, there are only two other similar properties left that are right on the lake....can you find them?)! We have salvaged as much as possible from the original property...water skis, fishing poles and a wood stove. Welcome to this nostalgic work in process!!!

Why they chose this property

Along with lake front activities, enjoy the cliff jump just down the lake, seasonal waterfalls everywhere, and the lost channel; a space with gorgeous turbulent falls, camping sites and access to the "lost lost" channel beyond. Many of these spots cannot be accessed with larger boats....they are truly part of the magic of Six Mile Lake.

What makes this property unique

Regardless of the season, there is so much beauty here. Enjoy the huge dock with friends, build a fire, visit the Wawatosa Marina for gourmet goodies and set up your playlist. Too cold to be outside? Snuggle in front of the fire with a glass of wine and some cards. This is the place to come to feel alive again.
