Outside, the cottage has a nice setup for fun and relaxation. There's a fire pit where you can gather around for chats under the stars, and a place to barbecue, making outdoor meals easy. Imagine telling stories by the fire or having a tasty barbecue with a view of the bay.

Had an excellent long weekend with some friends here. Great property/views and very comfortable inside. Property felt very quaint and private but still conveniently located a few minutes from local stores to pick up any essentials you may have forgotten. Also enjoyed golfing at beautiful Oak Bay golf course 10 minutes down the road. The owner was very pleasant to correspond with via email and vrbo chat.

Great bachelor weekend

We had an excellent stay at this location. The cottage was very sapcious and comfy at the same time. Being so close to the water with the fire pit made for an awesome setting. The close proximity to a great golf course was very convenient. Highly reccomend staying here!

Awesome stay!

Location was great, peaceful and quiet place. Spacious. Place had some great entertainment options with ping pong, arcade and kayaking/canoeing. Just some things to note would be that some kitchen utensils were not clean and some linens had stains. The lake was mostly filled with lily pads though. Otherwise, overall an awesome cottage. There were a few times the kitchen applicances short-circuited but the owner was very communicative and helped out right away to resolve it.

Secluded property in a nice area, house could use some attention

We had a great weekend here with 3 couples and kids. We found the home suitable for all of us and enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and secluded private property. The Arcade game and ping pong table was a huge hit with the kids (and a couple adults!). Check in was easy and there are nearby restaurants, gas stations and EV chargers (we plugged our EV into a regular outlet easily outside the house while we were there). Groceries were available 30 minutes south in Coldwater. Six Mile Lake Park is a great spot to visit though was listed as closed when we were here at the end of October. Overall, the property did feel a bit neglected with some loose floor tiles, worn main room flooring and a dishwasher that no longer effectively cleaned. The kitchen was very bare bones absent of things like dishtowels, serving bowls, cheese grater, can opener or even extra cutlery suitable for the number of people we brought. We love to cook and we did make do regardless! Bedrooms were well appointed though a topsheet instead of just the duvet would have been nice and there were no extra blankets (plus one duvet was undersized for the double bed) so bring extras. Bathrooms were clean though lacking body soap or additional towels or cloths (we had the exact number of towels as we needed and the owner did say to bring beach towels). Bidets were a big hit as was the jacuzzi tub and we had plenty of hot water. Despite a few deficiencies we had a great stay overall so thanks so much.
