4 friends down for a week of golfing at Corowa & Howlong.We found ‘The Captains Manor’ to be exactly what we were looking for with 4 bedrooms (each with large beds), 2 bathrooms, large living/dining area & a fully equipped kitchen.Walking distance to shopping, eateries, pubs & Club Corowa.We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great getaway with the furbabies

Stayed here for an extended 5 night, Anzac weekend, there was 8 of us in total and the property was perfect for us. While it could benefit from a few minor updates, the size of the property, location and amenities were fantastic and our crew thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property

This fantastic property was exactly as expected from the description - it was clean, had everything we needed and a relaxed comfortable vibe. The gorgeous original 1950’s features were fabulous! The property was close to the river for swimming and the Main Street for dining. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Fabulous house for big group with kids

Wonderful property with plenty of space for a large friend group & toddler. Kitchen was excellent and large loving spaces were great. Soft beds with nice clean sheets. Heater works well and kept us warm when overnight temp hit minus 2!

The original features of this property were very charming. Beds were very comfortable and rooms very cosy. Fire wood could have been offered at an additional cost or could have been advised to bring/buy own before arrival.

Delightful spot to explore Rutherglen Region

This large welcoming house was a great home base for us to explore the enticing Rutherglen area. Fresh linen on the beds, ducted heating and an open fireplace made our winter stay most comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the large dining lounge space was great for boardgames and relaxing in front of the TV. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Thank you for a lovely opportunity to explore the history of Corowa!

The property could be very nice it just needs a good clean and a bit of maintenance done. There are cobwebs all over the windows & holes in fly screens etc
