Port Elgin Paradise

The Bell House was perfect! With clean modern amenities, comfortable king beds in two of the bedrooms outfitted with luxurious bedding and a comfy outdoor space with a beautiful maple tree providing delightful shade, we will definitely book again! The hosts were so thoughtful and easily accessible if needed. The location was perfect and our stay too short!

This place is the best we have stayed so far. It's all new, super clean, comfortable beds and top quality bedding. The kitchen is well stocked and the place is well funished. We would definitely go back for our next vacation in Port Elgin. The hosts communicated well before and during our stay

Wonderful “Holiday House”

From the moment we walked into the house we were impressed with its cleanliness, wonderful renovations and overall fresh decor. Everything we could have wanted was provided My 2 year old granddaughter called it the Holiday House! With its proximity to the beach (walkable) and to downtown (walkable), we hope to stay at the Holiday House again next summer! If you are on the fence about renting this place, don’t hesitate, it’s great!

Rebecca & Trevor have been a part of the Port Elgin community for nearly 30 years. Trevor enjoys curling and Rebecca enjoys running. Together, walks along the beach are a must.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this house the first time we saw it. The location is perfect for walking to the beach or going out for dinner downtown Port Elgin and taking the short walk back to the house. We purchased this house on March 1, 2023 and spent the next 4 months doing a complete renovation inside and out. Mill street is a fantastic street and we trust you will enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

This became evident to us after the purchase. The previous owner worked for Bruce Telecom and had all kinds of old phones and history items relating to telecommunications. The Bell House seemed to be a logical fit for the name. We have a history wall inside and hope you and your family will enjoy the phones scattered throughout the house.
