About this property
Niboban Cabin #8 -Two floors and pet friendly!
Niboban Cabin #8 is a cute and cozy vacation rental in Rangeley, Maine, perfect for a tranquil getaway. This charming two-floor, pet-friendly cabin is an end unit, offering added privacy and comfort. With its inviting atmosphere and picturesque surroundings, it's an ideal retreat for couples, families, or anyone looking to relax and explore the beauty of the Rangeley area.
This cabin is located at historical Niboban. The original Niboban Camp was built sometime prior to 1915 and was at one time used as a farm. In the 1920s, it was once a girls camp. In the early 2000s, the original buildings at Niboban were torn down and new cabins and a lodge were built. Guests have access to the main lodge which offers ping pong, games, books, puzzles, and movies on DVD with a TV and DVD player.
There is a shared swimming cove and a swim float, with one of the few sandy beaches on Rangeley Lake. Shared moorings are available for larger craft and overnight use. Rangeley Village and downtown Oquossoc are just 7 miles away in opposite directions. Niboban has a connector trail to ITS84, so guests may enjoy snowmobiling directly from their cabins - to nearly 150 miles of groomed trails, with connections to New Hampshire and Canada. Cross Country Skiing and mountain bike trails are available nearby at the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center. There are public tennis courts in both downtown Rangeley and downtown Oquossoc. Close to Saddleback Mountain!
Sleeping Arrangements: First King Bedroom, Second Bedroom with Two Twins, Third Queen Bedroom. Sleeps up to 6 guests.
Location: On the southern shore of Rangeley Lake near South Cove. 7.1 miles to downtown Rangeley, 7.5 miles to downtown Oquossoc, and 13.3 miles to Saddleback.
Pet Friendly: This home will welcome pets to enjoy the property.
FAQs: This property includes a charcoal grill available mid-May through mid-October. This property includes access to the shared amenities for all Niboban Cabins, including a beach waterfront, docks for swimming, fire pits, a swim float, and the main clubhouse. Please note: Niboban #8 has a private mooring, and boats may not be left on the docks overnight. You are welcome to use the docks for loading and unloading. Mooring #3 - when standing on the beach looking at the lake it should be the 1st one on the right!!!
