Quiet Family Retreat

We enjoyed the views and the large outdoor space at this property. The inside is set up well for a small family to spread out or hang out together in the common areas. The kitchen is well stocked and has a nice open lay out. We visited Beavers Bend and restaurants. The location is great!

Great cabin with nice large deck and great location. Felt like we were in secluded area but really close to shopping, restaurants and lake. Kitchen was well equipped. Nice circle drive and adequate parking to accomodate a boat. We had a great time, would definately go back.

Great Cabin

Our stay was great. Everything we needed was there! We go for our family reunion and I always take crockpot to warm the meal to take, did not take it this year so was pleasantly suprised the cabin had one, most we've stayed in don't usually have one. It also had a griddle. Cabin was clean, plenty of towels, beds were comfy. Would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

We LOVED the cabin !!! Well maintained with all the comforts of home and with a kitchen equipped for yummy meals . We also used the gas grill for a special steak and lobster dinner ! The manager’s inbox was always full , but the second contact # was most helpful .We will definitely rebook for more fun in the woods !!!

Great place to have R&R!

This Cabin is on a perfect location, close to beaver’s bend state park, groceries, restaurants and other attractions. Actually a burger & bbq joint just a short walk from the cabin. Not to mention that this cabin is equipped with amenities we wanted. It’s cozy and clean. We enjoyed this cabin very much, too bad it was booked on Saturday when we wanted to extend our stay. But this cabin is just perfect for 6 people.

Short stay-but exactly what we thought we were getting and great location.

Whether you brought it all or need some stuff, good location for your needs. Great dinner down the gravel drive and great breakfast across the street. Cabin is awesome with porch and pool table. If you are looking for lake beach location or river adventure, its not far. Watch out for those rocks in the river if you are kayaking. Overall, very pleased and was super easy. High strung dog did well-nice seclusion.

Book retreat

It was a nice place to stay. I don't feel it was a clean as it should have been. Couldn't find the blow dryer. Also it's pet friendly which is great but you need to check the property for poop not picked up outside. Smoke free but cigarette butts outside all over the place. Our trip was a do a little as possible trip but if i were with my family it would not have been acceptable,

Our new favorite vacation rental!!

We were a little turned about the directions to the cabin, so we called Lori and she answered immediately. She was patient with us and guided us to the house. Shortly after entering the house we had questions and again she promptly answered our call. The house was immaculate and very cozy to our family of 4. The porch was everything to us, we spent most of our time grilling and enjoying the wilderness. Needless to say we will be renting this place again.

Cabin getaway

We wanted a Christmas getaway with our adult kids and we chose Broken Bow, OK. This cabin was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults and very close to Hochatown where there are restaurants, shopping and Beavers Bend Safari Park (a must-see adventure). The cabin was equipped with most everything you would need. We brought a rice cooker because we made a big pot of gumbo! We played pool in the game room, which was very nice to have. You can order firewood from the hostess managing the property, we built a campfire every evening and roasted marshmallows. Cozy and comfortable cabin, you will enjoy it.

Lovely place but missing amenities

When we arrived past check in, the home was still being cleaned and the dishwasher had an out of order sign. The next morning we noticed the refrigerator was not cooling. We had brought food with us to cook in. So out to find ice and back in the cooler the food went. The repair person showed up the day before we left. He did get it to work enough we were able to keep the food cool in the freezer compartment. With 6 adults, a working dishwasher and fridge would’ve been nice. Other than that the place was as described and the property manager was great. We were promised compensation but have not received it as of yet.

Spring break stay

We stayed for 4 nights over Spring break. Lori- cabin host was still cleaning cabin when we arrived at 4. She was very nice and it was not a problem but a heads up would have been nice. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. The view from the porch is nice but the cabin is very close to the highway so all you hear is traffice noise. I didn't like sitting outside because of that so I was mad at myself for booking a property so close to the highway. There is a propane grill which was nice. The pool table was fun. There's not a store nearby for groceries and stuff. So make sure you have everything you will need. The closest store is in Broken Bow. I didn't care for the fact that there's a hefty cleaning fee but then you're required to do most of the cleaning before you leave. I don't mind the cleaning but other places I've stayed have a cleaning deposit that you get back if you clean. Overall our stay was fine but I would not stay here again. It's just too close to the highway.

Family retreat

Btw there were 5 of us and we all loved it! The back porch and fire pit was a hit, plus the grill, pool table and the beds were very comfortable. That jacuzzi tub is immaculate. We have considered booking again really soon. I don’t know if it’s the same owners but there are also cabins right down the road with playgrounds for kiddos. My nieces and nephews would probably be great with this one though. It was a great stay. So glad that I canceled my reservation with the lodge and did this instead. We bought all of our food before we got there and never had to go a restaurant even though the Buffalo Grill is right there as the owners have the kitchen fully stocked with all your cooking needs. I definitely give this place a thumbs up. The little book nook was neat to read and write in at night. If I ever build a house I want it modeled like that.
