Quiet lakefront retreat! This sweet Victorian cottage is ready for your enjoyment! This cottage is perfectly placed right across the street from Lake Taneycomo. Enjoy the feel of a lakefront cottage with updated amenities!



The Space:

There is no better place to be. Plan a perfect getaway at Rockaway Beach. Enjoy all the area has to offer or head into Branson (11 Miles away) for all the fun filled activities of Branson!



You will have an adorable cottage to spend your downtime in after all the activities of the day. This home features a nicely equipped kitchen, newly updated AC in the main area plus an additional AC unit in the bed room, and plenty of room for the group to hang out. Step out outside and take in the sounds of the lake and the amazing views.

STOCKED ITEMS

All of our properties are stocked with a starter kit for toiletries and kitchen supplies. We aim to meet the essentials for your stay, but anything beyond what is listed below (or if you plan to have a large group/long stay) you will need to provide for your stay.

Kitchen: Coffee, Sugar, Coffee Filters, Salt and Pepper, Potholders, Dish soap, Hand Soap, Kitchen Hand towels and dishcloths, Paper towels, Trash Bags

Toiletries: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, Hand Soap, Towels, Toilet Paper, Trash bags, Make up wipes, tissue.

All linens will be provided as well as laundry detergent.



Other Things to Note:

**This property is pet friendly. A one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $100 is required. This fee covers up to two dogs. VRBO & Airbnb bookings can add pets in the guest count area, all other booking sites must contact us to pay fee separately.

**Freedom complies with all ADA regulations and welcomes Registered Service Animals. ESA's (Emotional Support Animals) are allowed at this property but still incur the $100 pet fee.

**Registered Service Animal requirements: 1 - The service animal may not be left alone in/around the property. 2 - The service animal must be on a leash when outside. 3 - Owners are required to pick up all pet waste.

**No cats allowed. For all other pets please contact us.

Had a nice stay here. Close to Branson. I would suggest to have an extra blanket for the bed... My husband runs cold. Or a throw or 2 for the living area

Very nice small place close to water. Some views from porch. Fridge didn't get very cold but otherwise everything was very nice. Great being a short walk from the island. Porch wasn't screened; that wasn't clear from pictures. Overall very nice stay and would definitely come back.

This cute and cozy cottage is perfect for a couples get away. Loved hanging out on the porch in the evenings and walking across to the fishing dock.

It was cute and cozy and all the amenities we needed were there. We had a little trouble finding the place because there are multiple cottages and they’re numbered but not in order. Suggest that you tell the cross street when you give directions and address. Also, even though it was a somewhat crowded Cottage area - it was very peaceful We were comfortable and we were close to fishing and Branson. We enjoyed the steamboat Branson Belle. Locally we enjoyed the Mercantile and the sweet lady Jamie that runs it. We would recommend the Cottage.

Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable bed. Nice decor! Enjoyed the lake, did a little fishing, did catch some. The Cedar restaurant is superb food & elegant baked goods & pastries & coffee !Nice drive into Branson about 15 min!

Very nice cottage

Our check in process was very easy. We did have an issue with the door code but it was rectified within a matter of minutes. Excellent and almost immediate response from the property manager. The kitchen was nicely supplied with all necessities and very clean. We were very comfortable using the kitchen. The water temperature and pressure were very good. We were also grateful for the apps that were installed on the Roku tv. It allowed us to watch our own televised live church services on Sunday morning. Stay was good. Cottage was clean and well appointed. Had issue with TV remote and that was taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Wish I could have found a local News/weather channel considering all of the rain, storms and Tornados in the area. Had reserved the room to visit with a sick friend but he passed away before I arrived.

Lake property

Overall we liked the little place. I would say there is a bad neighborhood cat problem so I believe that along with there was a musty smell in the house that was a little off but they do provide room spray. Everything else was great. It was clean and had everything you needed. The games were nice as well. The lake being very close and the view from the porch was beautiful. Overall happy with our stay. I would also leave a note to let me know how to use the AC and heat. Because we had a time getting it figured out to temp control.

The cottage was clean but the Roach issue around the kitchen cabinets and kitchen sink is a concern. And bed sheets need stripped and washed after each guest as I found mouse droppings between the fitted and mattress covers sheet. The host did offer to spray for bugs and said they would improve the cleanliness. We truly liked the cottage other than those two issues. Great for a couple’s getaway, loved the Christmas decor, the view from the covered porch is amazing, bed and pillows were very comfortable, water pressure in shower was great! just the small details included (the generous hooks in the bathroom, makeup wipes, the little night lights, Branson discount attractions coupons that were NOT expired yet. lol. I used a few!). We had everything we needed for a nice stay. I don’t expect any cottage to be perfect, it is an old community of cottages so I understand there will be some issues. I did appreciate the great communication and their willingness to make things right. I believe this host would go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable!

As for the sheets and mouse droppings, we had our maintenance staff search the entire property up and down after your checkout as requested and did not find any evidence of this anywhere. We did go ahead and set out traps just to be safe, but we wanted to let you know, to ease your mind. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay otherwise and had everything you needed to make it a comfortable one.
