Perfect location for a ski vacation! A short walk or ski to Blackcomb base. Also a nice walk to Whistler base for dinner, shopping, etc… Condo is clean and comfortable and has all you need. Great espresso machine (bring beans). The outdoor pool and hot tub are great after a day on the slopes.
We had a great time!!!
Our ski trip to Whistler/Blackcomb was fantastic! The condo's location was ideal; we quickly found a short walking route to the slopes, making it easy to ski down to the lift. We loved the convenience of nearby shops, restaurants, and the shuttle stop. The condo had a cozy king bed and a comfortable Murphy bed. It was clean, well-maintained, and felt like home. We had an unfortunate housekeeping situation and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Our only minor issue was the lack of an initial instruction sheet, but the host's quick and helpful responses resolved everything. We recommend reviewing the rental agreement upon arrival and asking the owner for details like the ski locker combination, TV controls, and checkout procedures. If using the fireplace is important, request specific operating instructions.Overall, we highly recommend this comfortable and convenient condo for a great getaway!
We enjoyed our stay at the Marquise. The murphy bed was perfect for our 2 kids, and allowed the living room to be much more functional. It was nice having a kitchen and the location was close enough to come home for lunch before going back up the gondola for the afternoon. Note that you do have to cross the street and walk (or ski) a few minutes down a side path to reach the Blackcomb slope, a few hundred feet above the Blackcomb gondola. The outside pool was one of the warmest we have used, which was perfect for 30's F degrees winter weather, and the enclosed hot tub was a nice escape as well. It's helpful to bring your own beach towels as extra towels are not supplied. Parking below the building is fine but does cost extra.

Peaceful and Well Appointed unit 4.5 Stars
We stayed in Jeff's unit for two weekend nights. As frequent visitors to Whistler we know the benefit of staying out of the village. The Marquise is close to the base of Blackcomb with a five minute walk to the slope. Not exactly ski in ski out as there is a road to cross and the path runs horizontal so more of a cross country trip. The bldg is low enough on the Mt to make it an easy walk to and from the main village so you can just park your car and walk. The bus also run every 10-15 minutes.
There is a nice view of the valley from the unit. Great for watching the snow fall. All the furnishings are newer and comfortable. Our group had three units in the building and Jeff's had the nicest finishes and furnishings by far. There are plenty of pots and pans and utensils for cooking in the condo. There is a building laundry but none in the units. Parking is secure as is the entrance to the building. The meter to buy your parking ticket is in the main lobby. There are no garbage receptacles in the building. You have to take it outside near the parking garage entrance.
The few minor convenience things keep this unit/bldg from being 5 star.

The Marquise is located near the base of beautiful Blackcomb mountain. It is a short walk to the main village and an even shorter walk to Village North. There are 3 different, ski in/out trails which are all located across the street. The ski out trail brings you within 20 metres of the front lobby, while accessing the mountain is about an 80 metre walk down the Wizard trail.
These trails can be a bit tricky to find at first. However, there is an aerial map of the neighbourhood provided within the unit which shows the various ski in/out and walking trails.
We had a great stay in Jeff's condo. We loved the location, the very comfortable beds, the Murphy bed in the living room was great and the coach is long enough for a kid to sleep on. The building is nice and quiet and is so convenient with just a short walk to ski in and ski out. We loved staying here and would love to stay again. Thank you!
The location is very convenient to ski in/out. The unit was in excellent condition, with nothing to complain about during the visit. The owner always responded quickly to my questions pre-checkin. Only one problem with arrival: the keypad at the parkade entry doesn't look like a keypad so we actually couldn't find it until another person entering pointed it out to us. Otherwise all was good.
We loved our long weekend here. First off, the location of the Marquise is fantastic, with easy ski-in/ski-out on a path across the road, and easy access to the Blackcomb base or to the Village via the short bus ride. The unit itself has been updated recently and quite tastefully. The Murphy Bed is a nice touch, providing a much better second bed than a pullout sofa. Thank you for the spices and basic staples in the kitchen. The unit has a nice overlook of the pool and through the trees down the valley. The group hottub and workout room are a plus. Parking and the ski lockers are easy to access. The owner of this unit was super responsive. We will want to stay here again.
Great spot to stay while skiing at Whistler-Blackcomb. The condo clean, quiet and was equiped with everything we needed during our stay. The owner was easily reachable and quick to answer our queries. We would not hesitate to rent his condo in the future. Thanks Jeff!
Perfectly located, and suited our needs. Jeff was super easy to communicate with and was very helpful even during our stay as questions came up. Highly recommend.

Thanks for staying with us.
Unfortunately, during your stay, the building was upgrading its hot water tanks. Not an ideal time to do so, I know. Everything is in working order now.
Come back anytime!

Great accommodations and location
This unit is very nice. Locker room on the ground floor is perfect for getting gear on in the morning and then just walking across the street to the access trail to the hill. Unit is also very nicely decorated and had everything we needed for preparing meals and relaxing.

Well maintained, clean, comfortable.
We had a wonderful time in Whistler. The condo was better than expected. (sometimes pictures are deceiving). The condo has everything you might need. (Coffee drinkers alert: there is only a Keurig coffee maker in unit, so bring your pods!) Both beds were very comfortable. We will book this place again in the future.

Great place and a great price
Very comfortable place. Mike was great and promptly answered all of our questions.
The pictures speak for themselves. Murphy bed in living area was very convenient. You can take a bus to the base area or ski-in, ski-out sort of.
For ski-out, you walk out the building, climb over the snow bank left by the plow, walk across the street, walk over another snow bank and you are now on village walking trail. They don't plow this portion so you can ski/skate over the the blackcomb base area.
To ski back you need to look for a little trail of lower Merlin's with a small sign that say The Marquise (mostly covered by branches), ski through the woods and follow a path on top of the snow bank to back to the building.
We always skied in/out, but I would guess it was 50%/50% based on what peopple were comfortable with.
The other thing I like about the unit is that it was a nice brisk easy walk of about 1 mile into the the Village where there are all the shops and restaurants, etc.
In any case, highly recommended.

Nicely appointed condo
My husband rented this condo for a few days of skiing. The condo is awesome, but the building is a little dated. The owner was very accessible and accommodating. We found the walking path that a less than 10 minute walk to the base of the hill--harder to do with skiis, but very walkable without. Great space, good location

Convenient Stay
Clean, good for everything you needed. A few things could be done to make it more accessible and user- friendly; specifically, a booklet to tell you how to operate tv, heat and fireplace. These were confusing and it took a while to figure it all out. Was more or less ski- in and ski- out.
